The wind brushes through my skin while staring out of the window, enjoying the breeze while looking at the scenery in front of me…my mind wondered off to what happened before grandpa leave me and this world…

(Two years ago)
Changmin’s Pov
The surrounding was in silent and peace, as people in the house are all paying attention to my sick grandpa, whose resting on the bed enjoying the silent.
“Changmin ah” called out my grandpa, breaking the silent surrounding me.
Hearing him calling out for me, I quickly made my way to his side and before I could ask him anything, he signaled me to have a sit on the bed, right beside him…he finally continued what he had to said once I am seated “Changmin ah , could you promise me that whatever I ask from you now, you would fulfilled it..” I just nod as a respond and grandpa continued what he have to say “On the day you turned 22years old, a man with the name of Kim Jungmin, will come to find you, at that moment he will asked a request from you and you must remember & promise me that whatever request that came from this man, you will have to accept & agree with it. Remember that by accepting & agreeing to his request, you will fulfilled both my promise towards him & your promise towards me…If this is last thing I could asked from you before I leave this world, I am glad that I had done so” he finished off that last sentence, and he signaled me that he needed to rest…After that he went into a deep sleep & never woke up again …..

Changmin’s Pov
The sound of wind chimes, woke me up from the past…This promise has been replaying over and over again in my head this few days. As my 22nd birthday approaching nearer, I could not stop wondering about this promise that being made by my late grandpa & Kim Jungmin…Maybe I will find out when the time is right…

(Changmin’s 22nd Birthday Day)
“Happy Birthday, darling” said my Umma…”Happy Birthday, Oppa” said my cute little sister…”Thank you, love the both of you” I said while giving both of them a hug & a kiss on their cheek … I just wished time will
stop while I am enjoying myself with my family…but nope it didn’t...
‘Ding dong, ding dong’ I heard the door bell rang, I quickly make my way to the door & opened it , to be greeted with a sight of an healthy old man whose smiling at me….After staying silent for a while, he finally broke the silent by asking me “ Hi there kiddo, how have you been?” I stay rooted on the ground, still puzzle & asking myself if I know this person in front of me.

“What am I thinking, agreeing to that…I must be crazy….” I mumbled to
myself as I was driving myself out for lunch , as my mind keep replaying this morning incident.

(This morning)
I woke up as usual to get myself ready for work. I heard a knock on the bedroom door, “Come in” I said, the door opened & I saw
one of my maid as she bow to me, “ Young master, breakfast is ready” she said. I gave her a nod, she quickly take her leave…. I quickly took my stuffs & get ready to go downstairs for breakfast. When I arrived downstairs, I was greeted by my grandpa “Good morning, Jae”, I smiled at him, “Good morning” I said to all & greeted back with smile from umma and appa. I took my seat at the dinning table, no long after after that, we all starting our breakfast. While eating, I heard my grandpa called out my name, I turned my head to his direction, “Jae, there is something that I would like to tell you, I hope you listen well” my grandpa started off, I just nod in respond, he continued “I would like you to fulfilled my promise towards someone important to me” he paused
“And what is it grandpa?” I said, he continued “The promise is to get you married off to his grandson, Shim Changmin”…It took me a minute to register in my mind, about what he had just said. “NO” I shouted, attention was all on to me right now, I continued with a high tone “I am sorry, grandpa…I can’t fulfilled this promise for you” I stopped eating and was about to take my leave when I heard grandpa said “If you are not going to agree on this, you going to lose everything in your life even your parents.” I slowly turned my head, I was greeted with a sight of grandpa being totally serious about this and my parents was in one corner, keeping quiet not getting involved. I opened my mouth and said “Is this promise so important that you could do all this to your only grandchild?” I asked him, he gave me a nod, I keep quiet and think about the answer I am going to give him…”No, I can’t lose everything. I grew up being the young master & the only heir to Kim’s Corporation, I have to own what belongs to me rightfully, what I have been working hard to gain, I can’t lose it now. I own all the money & wealth, how can I survive without seeing my parents, lose my place in the company & surviving without money” I thought to myself …I finally break the silent “ Alright , I agreed to this” I said, he gave me a smile & a nod. I quickly took stuffs & made my way out of the house.
After reaching to the company, I buried myself into works, to get my mind off of what just happened.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“ I can’t agree to this, how am I going to say it to him & what is going to happened to our relationship if I get married to someone I don’t love, how about our love…what am I going to do…Aish, my mind is so mess up right now” I thought. Lose in my thoughts , I finally realize that I have reached my destination, a restaurant, I quickly make my way to the entrance, there I saw the love of my life, Park Yoochun… “How can I break his heart?” I said to no one.


(Changmin’s Pov)
After, staying silent & registering everything into my mind, I break the silent by answering “I am fine sir, I am sorry but do you know me? I asked. He stayed silent for a while and said “Of course, I know you kiddo, you are Changmin right” I nodded, he continue, “Maybe you have forgotten about me, let me introduce myself, I am Kim Jungmin, your late grandpa’s best friend” he finished off. Everything as be come cleared to me now, he is the person that grandpa told me about & along with the promise before he left me. I quickly gave him a smile not wanting to be rude to him and offered him to go inside. He accepted my offer quickly and made his way in. “Well the day where all my questions will be answered had finally arrived” I thought.

I made my way to the table where Yoochun is seated…”Hi,Chunnie, waited long?” I said. He gave me a smile and said “Not really, Jaejoongie but about 10 mins” I nod as a respond and said “Sorry, got stuck with work today” I said as I took my seat, he just gave me a smile in respond. After ordering our food, I got lost in my thought again thinking about how to break this to him. I felt a tap on my shoulder, turning my head to see Chunnie with a worry look on his face. He finally break the silent and ask “Are you ok, Jaejoongie” I nodded & gave him a smile, he smile back at me and after a while, our food arrived and once again I totally blank out on him while we were eating..

“After saying sorry to me, he totally blanked out on me, as I was worried about him I tap his shoulder to get his attention, he turned and I asked if he is ok and he just nod & gave me a smile, I smiled back, not long after our food arrived, once again, he blanked out on me…Something must be totally wrong, to have him blanked out on me during lunch…”I thought to myself.
I heard him calling me and turned my attention to him.

I finally break the silent, “Chunnie ah” I called to get his attention, he turned towards me, I continued “Chunnie ah, can I asked you something?” , he nodded and I continued once again “ Chunnie ah, what will you do if one day I have to get marry to someone else instead of you” I paused, waiting for his reaction but to my surprise there no reaction, but instead he said “ Is that why you have been blanking me out the whole time” I wanted to answer but words are stuck in my throat and it just wouldn’t came out, he continued “ I have expected that Jaejoongie, our relationship is unknown to your parents, this is bound to happened anyways. ”Chunnie finishes off with a smile. “Chunnie, don’t worry even if I am married to him, you are still
the love of my life , nothing going to change that & I am just agreeing to married him because my grandpa threatened me….Even when I am a married man, you still going to be by my side not him” I said to Chunnie & he smiled in returned & hold on to my hand , with a tight grip full of warmth.
“As for my dear future “wife”, he is going to regret agreeing to marry me, as he is digging his own grave, I promised myself to make him suffer just as much of how I suffered, not to be able to be with Chunnie.” I thought to myself. After that both of us make our way back to work.

After chatting for quite a while with grandpa, as he asked me to called him that instead of sir. He finally said “Kiddo ah, I am sure that your late grandpa told you about me, meeting you on your 22nd birthday and asking a request off you” he paused, I nodded and I ask “How did you know about it grandpa & what is that promise that I can fulfilled for my late grandpa?” I asked non-stop as curiosity is taking over me. He gave out a chuckled and said “Alright, kiddo slow down” I nodded and he continue “ Well ten years ago, we made a promise which can only be fulfilled by you, which is to marry my grandson & he called me a week before he died , to tell me that he will tell you about me & this promise.” he finished off. It took me a minute to registered what grandpa had just said “No I can’t married a guy, I haven’t even go on dates yet, how am I suppose to marry & fall in love with a guy…this is totally crazy” I thought to myself, as I was about to say no, my thoughts trailed off to the promise I made to grandpa. “So how is it kiddo, will you agree to my request?” he asked me, as I heard the question, it bought me back to reality, as I turned my head to face him , I finally answered him “ Yes, I agree to it” I answered , “ That’s great, kiddo” he reply giving me a big warm smile and I smile back in return. Not long after that grandpa took his leave, right after that I get myself ready for bed… After a long day, I lay in bed and thought “Aish, what have you got yourself into Shim Changmin” with that thought I fell asleep.

(Changmin’s Pov)
The next day, I got myself ready for my first time meeting with Kim Jungmin’s grandson. “What kind of guy will he be? Is he young or older than me? Will he really agree to all the arrangement?” I thought. These questions had been on my mind all morning. I just have a very strong feeling that this meeting will only bring him pain and misery. “What will I get myself into today?” I asked myself.

I was shocked by what I saw in front of me. The address that was given to me leads me to this huge mansion. I can’t believe what I saw. I pressed the bell at the gate to announce my arrival. I walk in nervously, feeling totally out of place. The main door opens and I was greeted by a maid followed by Grandpa Kim. “Ah! Finally, you are here kiddo!” Shouted Grandpa Kim happily. “Come! Let’s meet my family!” Grandpa Kim said again. I just follow him silently all the way.

My path was stopped by Grandpa Kim who was leading the way. “Alright, everyone, I would like you all to meet Shim Changmin” he said and pushed me in front as to make me more visible to everyone, I slowly bring my head up to be greeted with a sight of a middle age couple whose was both smile warmly at me & a young man which look a little older than me, whose also smiling brightly at me. I finally break the silent and said “Nice to meet you all, I am Shim Changmin” as I bow down and give them a big smile in return. “Alright, have a seat kiddo” Grandpa Kim said. I nodded and took my seat which right across the young man.
“Well kiddo, I would like to introduce to you, my son & his wife & also my dear grandson, Jaejoong which is also your future husband” he finishes off. I nod and smile back at them. I was feeling really out of place at first but after chatting with Grandpa Kim, Mr & Mrs Kim, I feel much better. “Maybe it’s not as bad as I thought it will be” I thought to myself.

(30 mins later)
“Look at how time fly while we were chatting, now let’s leave the boys so they could get to know each other” Grandpa Kim said as he & the others took their leave, which only leave the two of us here, me & my future husband. I wanted to start a conversation but I notice that the sweet smile that was on his face just a minute ago was replaced with a smirk. I stopped myself as I just hung my head down keeping silent. “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself” he said with a harsh tone, as he break the silent, I just keep quiet as he continue, “ Why do you agree to this marriage? What are you after, for sex or wealth? Do you realize that we are not from the same status? Marrying you will only bring me shame. Did your family educate you to be like this, tsk, such a low-life” he wanted to continue but “Stop” I said in low tone voice as I bring my head up to face him , he stop and look at me straight in the eye with a smirk, I continued “ As why I agree to this marriage is because of my promise to my late grandpa and if you think I want your money or your body, you are totally wrong because I happy with my life the way it is just before your grandpa entered my life & I realized that we are not of the same status even before you tell me. So if you think I am gonna bring shame to you, I am so sorry in advance but remember one thing, you have no right to look down upon my family.” I finished off as I glare at him. After a minute of silent, I heard a chuckled, “Don’t expect me to love or treat you like a “wife” because I am gonna make your life, a leaving hell” he said. I look at him & said “Don’t worry, I know where I stand but remember, don’t you touch me & we will be sleeping in different room” I finish off. “As you wish my dear “wife”, like as if I am gonna touch you or sleep in the same room with you” he finished off with an evil smile & I just glare back at him. Both us heard a knock, its grandpa Kim & his parent, where his face instantly changed to all smile.
“So, do the two of get along well?” Grandpa Kim asked, “We get along fine, grandpa, right Minnie?” he asked with a happy face, looking at my direction, I just give a smile. “ Well, I assumed that everything is going on well since Jae is calling you by a nickname” Grandpa Kim said, as he look at me, I give a nod & said “ Yup, everything is well grandpa, right JJ”, giving out a big smile after what I said. I notice that Jaejoong looks a bit pissed off while he nodded his head, I just smile to myself. “That’s good” Grandpa Kim said. Not long after that, I took my leave out of the Kim’s mansion.
“Maybe things will be worse than what I expected” I thought to myself & sigh.

After he left the mansion, I excuse myself to my bed room, I get myself ready for bed, I lay in bed as I got lost in my thoughts “ Shim Changmin, my dear “wife”, you gonna regret that you agree to marry me.” I thought as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

After getting home, I freshen myself up and I took a seat on my bed, I look out my window, enjoying the breeze , “ Shim Changmin, you are not gonna regret this decision, because off grandpa, I will try my best, Hwaiting” I told myself as I continue enjoying the peace after a long day.

"I do" I finally said it. “And now I pronounce you husband & wife” the priest said, I sigh in relief, knowing that I finally said it after the word being stuck in my throat. I turn around to look at my husband, he was smiling sweetly at me, I smile in return and turn to face the guests, there were a lot of people at the wedding including reporters & media. Seeing the smile on the guests’s faces including my parents in law, grandpa Kim & especially my mum & sister, I smile widely, “I have to be happy for them.” I told myself.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
After the priest said “And now I pronounce you husband & wife”, I heard him sigh, I waited for him look at me and when he turn and look at me, I smile sweetly and he smile in return, “This is gonna be the only smile that I am gonna give you, after this you can never look at me with a smile anymore, My dear “wife” ” I thought to myself. “This is the most painful day of my life” I said to myself.

I was alone at home as I heard from Jaejoongie that today was his wedding, I kept thinking that Jaejoongie is gonna leave me one day, I finally decided to kept my mind off that thought by watching some tv. I flip through the channels, when I saw a familiar face on the screen, its was Jaejoongie “This is Reporter Lee, I am currently witnessing the marriage between the only heir of Kim Corporation, Kim Jaejoong & Shim Changmin, who was said to be President Kim best friend grandson. The couple is smiling widely toward th…” I off the tv before the reporter could even finish her report. My heart hurts to witness my lover’s wedding & it hurts even more to see the smile on his face. I am hurting inside so much holding back my tears that it slowly made its way out, I cried myself to sleep with the thought “This is the most painful day of my life”.

(After the wedding event)

After the event, I and my “wife” were surrounded by my family & his, friends and the others, saying their congrats & wishes to us, the newly wed couple. I am getting tired, putting on a smile for them, I thought “When will this ever end..Aish..My face is starting to ache.”
After entertaining them for about 10 mins more, my grandpa finally voice out my thoughts, “Jae, I think you guys should get going, to get your rest.” I smile widely upon hearing that, “Let’s go Minnie, I think, we should just wait for umma, appa & grandpa at home” I said , before he could even respond, grandpa cut in “ Wait a min, you guys are not supposed to go back to the mansion” he paused, “Why” I asked a bit puzzle, he continued “ Because I got you guys your own home as a wedding gift, I hope you guys like it” he finished off as he jingle the keys & passed it to me. “Thanks grandpa, you are making my life easier, & his life worse.” I thought. “Thanks grandpa” I said as I hugged him & my “wife” just reply him with a sweet smile.

Upon hearing, that grandpa both a house for us as a wedding gift, my husband said thank you & hugged him, I just smile in return... “Oh no, I have to stay alone with him, there no one to help me, someone help! No, Shim Changmin, you have to be strong! Hwaiting!” I told myself.

(1Hour Later)
Jaejoong & Changmin, are both on their way to their new house which is 2 hrs drive away from the church, where their wedding took place. Both of them kept quiet, not a single words is spoken, each of them is lost in their own thoughts.

(Jaejoong”s Pov)
After 2hrs of a quiet ride, I finally reached the new home, I stop my car & quickly made my way out of the car, and was greeted by a maid
“Welcome back, young master Jae” she said, I just nod in reply and said
“Please bring in all of my belonging, but remember leave his belonging alone.” as I pointed my finger to his direction, she quickly nod & give me a bow. I made my way in the house leaving him behind in the car.

As we reached our destination, he quickly made he way out of the car, leaving me behind in the car, I saw him greeted by a maid, after a while I saw him pointing towards my direction & not long after that the maid made her way towards the car & he made his way towards the house. As I saw the maid slowly carrying the belonging one by one out from the back the car, I made my way out of the car & was wondering why was she only carry his belonging out, as the maid notice me, she quickly give me a bow & said “Welcome young master” , I just give a smile in reply & she continued “ I am sorry, I was only instruct to carry in Young Master Jae belonging, you will have to carry your own belonging in.” she finishes off & take her leave with the belongings. I just let out a sigh, as I slowly take all my belonging and slowly made my way into the house. “Cheer up, this is only the beginning” I told myself.

Upon reaching into the house, I find my way to the living room area & flopped myself on the sofa, “I have to start my plan by tomorrow but the maids are in my way” I thought to myself, lost in my thoughts, “Young Master, young master” I heard my maid calling out of me, “Yes” I replied, “Your belonging have been arranged in order” she said, I just nod when a idea come up.

As I entered the house, I was mesmerized by the interior design as the house is very spacious, the sight of him sitting on the sofa caught my attention, I slowly walk away from him as I wanted to avoided him, “Stop right there” he said, I stop on my track, he continued “Where do you think you are going?” he asked, “Bedroom” I replied while pointing toward a room that empty. He chuckled & said “Don’t even dream of sleeping in a master bedroom, you belong in there” he said pointing to a room near the kitchen, which is a maid bedroom, with a smirk on his face. I just make my way towards the bedroom, before I entered the room, I heard
“Good night my dear “wife”, in a harsh tone & a slam the bedroom door, I just made my way in & close the door behind me, I look around me, “The room is empty, how could it be empty if there a maid in this house, there could only be one reason to it, he send the maid away” I said to myself. “ What did I do to deserve this?” I asked myself as tears is dripping on my cheek, missing my umma & little sister so much, I cried myself to sleep.

I slammed my bedroom door as I flopped myself on the bed, “This is just the beginning Shim Changmin” I thought to myself, while lying I started to miss Chunnie, I flip open my phone to see a picture of Chunnie smiling as my wallpaper, it hurts to see that smile, “I am sorry, Chunnie” I said to myself before drifting of to sleep.

(Changmin’s Pov)
As the sunlight shone on my face, I woke up to face a brand new day being Kim Jaejoong’s ‘wife’. “I hate him but I have to fulfill my duty as his ‘wife’, which gave him no reason to find my faults.” I thought to myself as I made my way to the bathroom which is located in the kitchen. After a refreshing shower, I quickly went to the kitchen & start preparing breakfast.

While having my shower, I could hear sounds from the kitchen indicating that he has awakened. I got dressed as usual, for work. “Today,will be your first day in hell, Shim Changmin,” I smiled with the thoughts in my head.

(Changmin’s Pov)
As I heard a bedroom door open, I got all the breakfast readied on the dining table. As soon as he entered the kitchen, I greeted him “Good Morning”.
However there was no reply from him. I just kept quiet after that.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“Good Morning” he greeted. I just gave him a cold shoulder & did not reply back, as I turned my attention to the dining table, I saw breakfast & I had an idea.

(Changmin’s Pov)
I was surprised as he suddenly took his seat at the dining table, I quickly poured him a cup of coffee, in hoping to make the atmosphere less tense but in a split second I heard a crashed sound & there in front of me the cup of coffee that I just poured, it spilt on to the floor & the ceramic cup had broken into smaller pieces. “What the hell is that!
It’s doesn’t even taste like coffee!” he shouted at me with an annoyed face. Without waiting for an answer from me, he moved on & tasted the foods
,and there was no reaction from him, after a few mins , he suddenly got up from his seat, carrying every single dishes with him & dumped it in to the bin. I was shocked with his action “How could he throw the foods away?” I asked myself. He turned to my direction & said with a harsh tone “Don’t expect me to eat that, it’s not even human food”.With an expressionless face, he made his way out of the kitchen. Not long after that, I heard a loud bang from the front door an indication that he had left home for work. I slowly picked up all the broken cup pieces while thinking what is gonna happen to my life.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
While driving myself to work, I smiled in victory, “Maybe having “breakfast” at home today was not a bad idea after all” I thought to myself. I missed Chunnie so much & I can’t wait to meet him for lunch, I smiled to myself once again thinking about Chunnie.

(Lunch)
As I reached earlier than my baby, I took a seat at a table at the corner of the restaurant, after waiting a while, I saw Chunnie approaching me.
He smiled sweetly at me and said “Sorry Jaejoongie, I’m late.”
“It’s ok, baby” I replied & he smiled back. “I’m sorry baby, I left you all alone yesterday. How I wish that you were the one by my side yesterday and not him,” I finished off with a sad tone.
“Jaejoongie, it’s not your fault. I know that I am not alone even though when you are not by my side because you are always in my heart.” he finished off giving me a sad smile, holding back his tears. Not long after that, the atmosphere lighten a bit, we were back chatting & enjoying each other company while having lunch. “Chunnie ah, can I spend time with you tonight?”I asked.
“What about him,Jaejoongie ah?”he asked back.
“His gonna be alright alone at home. Please!” I said & was replied with a nod by Chunnie.

(Changmin’s Pov)
The clock already struck 10 pm & he was not back yet. I was seating at the sofa in the living room waiting for his arrival back home. I was getting tired waiting for him and I fell asleep on the sofa. I was awakened by the sound of the front door, I saw him walking toward the living room, I turned around & realized was already 3 am in the morning, when I turned back toward him, he just walked passed me like I’m invisible & went straight in to his bedroom. “This is What I got for waiting for his arrival back home.” I thought to myself & letting out a sigh before returning to my own room to rest.


(Changmin’s Pov)
“Bang”, once again the sound of the front door was heard as he left for work. It has been an everyday routine for him even after 2 months of marriage. It has been normal but tiring for me to endure his behavior towards me. His behavior everyday has been the reenactment on how he acted on our 1st day as husband & ‘wife’. His behavior has gotten worse, to the extend of not returning home at all, leaving me all alone at home. I’m more like a maid to him than his ‘wife’, cleaning after the mess he did every morning, being shouted at when he is angry or pissed off. Every night like an idiot, waiting for him to come home & once again being ignore when his back home. “Maybe this is expected when you got married not out of love but hatred,” I thought to myself, sighing and continue to do my daily house chores.

“Don’t you even dream of me treating you better my dear ‘wife’, because seeing you suffer makes me happy, & you deserve to suffer more & more as days goes by.” I thought while smiling to myself as I drove myself to work.

(Yoochun’s Pov)
It has already been 2 months since my lover is being called as someone else husband. Even though I have to go through the pain being known only as his friend in public, I am happy that his always by my side, spending his days after work with me & sometimes he even sleepover at my place. At times I felt guilty but I just pushed that feeling away. “Why should I feel guilty about doing this to him?. I am not in the wrong, Jaejoongie belongs to me. He loves me not him. I deserve this happiness from the man I love,” I convinced myself and pushed that feeling away.

I had lunch with my family and his family. His family has made the arrangement to have lunch together. However, he has disappointed us by not turning up at the dining table.

I arrived at the mansion 10 mins before 12 noon, I was greeted by the maids & was led to the living ‘room’. I was greeted by Grandpa Kim & my in laws, smiling towards me. “Hi kiddo, how are you?” Grandpa Kim asked as he motioned me to take a seat on the sofa joining them. I took my seat & replied, “Fine grandpa, how about u?” He gave me a nod & smiled. “It’s good to know that everything is fine, dear,” my mother in law said as I gave her a smile as my reply.
As I was chatting with them, I heard someone calling me. I turned around to see my umma & little sister was present. I quickly got up & greeted them each with a hug. I was happy with their present. I was chatting with my umma when a maid approached us all in the living room. “Sorry to disturb Master Kim” she said. Grandpa gave a nod & all of our attention was on her as she continued. “We received a call from Young Master Jae saying that he could not make it for lunch as he has last mins meeting with a client,” she finished off. Grandpa gave her a nod & she took her leave. “It’s such a waste that Jae’s not able to join us,” he paused & continued, “Let’s all get moving to the dinning area so that we can enjoy our lunch.” I can see a hint of disappointment & sadness on his face soon after he finished his statement. After that we all enjoyed the lunch while chatting.

I was making my way home when I remembered that my little sister’s birthday is just around the corner, so I decided to stop by at a shopping centre which was 1 hour travel back home to “our” house. I was walking around trying to find a perfect gift for her. As I was getting hungry after a long search, I decided to grab a snack. I was making my way in to the café. I saw someone who looked familiar, and then it came clear to me that was him. He was chatting while holding hands with another guy which was seated beside him. The smile that he gave the guy was a smile that I have never seen before, a smile that I will never be able to receive from him. “What is he doing here? Isn’t he supposed to meet up with a client? He is having a good time with him, while grandpa is sad & disappointed. How could he do that to his own family & lied?” I asked myself as I could feel my blood boiling thinking about what he did. I quickly made my way out of the café before he notices me.

I was having a great time with Chunnie, earlier on I decided to call the mansion & told one of the maids that I could not make it for lunch as I have to meet up with a client last min. Why would I attend such a boring lunch with them, where I have to meet up with my ‘dear’ mother in law & him. The sight of him will make me lose my appetite. I would rather spend time here with Chunnie.

I was backed home & after taking a shower, I decided to enjoy the breeze by the window. “What does he takes me all this while, an idiot? He never once did fulfill his duty as my ‘husband’. Kim Jaejoong, if you think I am an idiot, let me prove you wrong because Shim Changmin will ‘play’ your game since you loved ‘playing’ with me.” I thought to myself. I was having my shower in the morning as usual getting ready for work. It was so quiet, there was no sound coming from the kitchen. I wondered why it was so quiet. He was supposed to be awaked already. I thought to myself. When I was readied I made my way out of my bedroom, to my surprise as soon as I reached the kitchen, I was greeted by the sight of an empty kitchen. There was no breakfast on the table, no smell of coffee brewing & no sight of him. “Where is my breakfast? I was supposed to have ‘fun’ during breakfast like every other day. Where could he be? Not getting my breakfast ready.”, I asked myself as I just make my way out the house feeling Irritated and my mind is full of question but I just kept my mind of it. “He is just spoiling the fun I had every morning. I will make him paid for it tonight. I am sure he will be waiting for me to be home like always.” I thought to myself & smiled as I drove myself to work.

I was still lying on my bed, when I heard the front door slam shut. “I am sure he has a lot of question in his mind right now. Well let’s just keep him wondering more because the game has just begun, Kim Jaejoong.”, I thought to myself & smiled, as I slowly make my way to the shower.

After a tiring day at work, I finally took a rest in my office as I had a few meeting with clients & off course having lunch with grandpa which made me cancelled my plan to have lunch with Chunnie like usual.

“How’s does the last minute meeting with the client goes Jae?” grandpa asked with a serious tone.
“It went well, grandpa,” I replied as he just gave a nod in return. I just continued eating my lunch quietly. He suddenly break the silent & said, “Do you know that yesterday you were supposed to meet up with your mother in law & as far as I know you have never taken the time off to bring your ‘wife’ to visit your mother in law.” He stopped & just gave me a disappointed look. I just keep quiet as he continued “Jae, you really disappointed me by not turning up for lunch yesterday,” he finished off.
“Sorry grandpa, I had no choice but to attend the meeting yesterday.” I finally spoke out. He just stared at my face without giving a respond, I waited a while, finally he spoke out back again “Jae, are you still gonna lie to me?” I gave him a puzzled look and then he continued “Jae, I know that you didn’t have a meeting yesterday. You left your office at lunch time & never returned back to the office,” he paused. I was just about to give him an excuse when he cut through my words. “No more excuses Jae, this morning I went to your office to check on the meeting details but your assistance told me that there was no meeting yesterday & you left the office during lunch. Why did you do that? You are being disrespectful towards me & especially your mother in law who was waiting for your arrival with a smile. But you never show up, why did you lie Jae?” He stopped as his voice is full of disappointment. I wanted to reply but the words were stuck in my throat, none of it came out. He took a drink from the glass & looked at me with a serious face & he spoke again “Jae, you accepted this wedding, you should be responsible towards it, and you have to take good care of Changmin. I hope this is only thing you lied to me about & I trust you to take good care of your ‘wife’, to give him enough love & care.” He finishes off with a calm expression & gave me a weak smile.
“Don’t worry, grandpa. I will take good care off Minnie & I am sorry that I lied to you.” I said as I gave him a smile, he just nod and said “You are forgiven and remember to visit your mother in law whenever you can.” I just nod as a replied.

My thoughts were interrupted, by the ring of my phone, “Yeobsaeyo” I said, “Jaejoongie, are you still at work?” as I hear the sweet voice on the other line, it brought a smile on my face, “Yes, Chunnie. Why?” I replied. “Just missing you baby, so how was the lunch with your grandpa?” he asked, “Great, baby. We were just catching up on a few things. I will be leaving the office soon, meet you at your apartment soon.” I said, “Ok, See you soon, baby.” he replied and with that our conversation ended.
After finishing the last set of documents that needs checking, I decided to end my day at work. As I was driving my car, I was deep in my thoughts, “Shim Changmin, you started off spoiling my day by not making ‘breakfast’, so that I can’t have fun & it got worse during lunch, when I was lectured by grandpa on how I needed to be good to you. Today, I will give you a piece of my mind. I will make sure that you can’t even look at my face again. Today the game just has gotten better. I promise you.” I thought with a smirk on my face.

After having my shower, I was getting ready when my phone rang, “Yeobsaeyo” I said, “Baby, Good Morning, how was your sleep last night?” he asked, a smile was on my face when I heard his voice, “It was good, MinMin baby.” I replied, he continued, “So baby, want to have some fun today? Let’s meet up, I miss you so much that I even dreamt of you at night.” He finished off with a cheesy voice. I just chuckled & replied “Sure MinMin baby, I would love to meet you.” “Okey baby, I will pick you up in an hour time.” He finished off, “See you later baby.” I replied as I end the call.

The laughter of my little sister was heard as it woke me up from my dazed, after having some fun at the amusement park, he decided to bring me to see my umma & little sister, they were so happy to see him back. As I saw him approaching me, I just smiled at him, “Minnie baby, would you like me to send you back home after this?” he asked, “Baby, can you please bring me to the beach, I don’t want to go home just yet & I would like to spend more time with you.” I answered. “Sure baby, you missed me too much don’t you,” he said with a teasing voice. I just chuckled when I heard his reply.
The view of the beach was so peaceful & calm. It really helped me to relax my mind. I was deep in my thoughts when I heard him calling out for me, I turned my direction towards him, he asked, “Minnie baby, do you have anything on your mind right now? You seem to have spaced out on me just now.” “Nope baby, nothing.” I reply. “Are you sure?” he asked. “Yup” I said while giving him a big smile, just to assure him. “Alright, if you say so.” He replied while giving me a sweet smile.

As I drove my car in, I noticed that the house was not lighted up like always. I made my way into the house & was greeted with an empty & dark house. I switched on the lights & made my way to his room. When I opened the door room, it was empty. “Where the hell is he? He was not at home when I am already back.”, questions kept popping up in my head. Suddenly I heard the sound of a car drove in. I went to peek on the window & saw him getting off the car. I made my way to the door, to get ready to scream in his face when I opened the door, but as I opened the door, I saw something that I can never imagine. He was hugging another guy & was laughing. After that the guy kissed him on the forehead. He just smiled, as the guy makes his way back into the car & drove off. As he turned his body, his face changed to an expressionless face and he just walked past me, making his way towards his room. He left me furious & curious tonight.

I just loved the expression on his face. He looked startled and yet furious at the same time. He must have witnessed the scene between MinMin & me. “It was such a good beginning for me in this game. Let’s just see how long he can last in his own game.”, I thought to myself as I made my way for a shower.

Finally, it was the weekend. I was woken up by the ring of my phone, “Yeobsaeyo” I said.
“Good morning Jaejoongie.” I heard the cheerful voice on the other line. I chuckled & replied, “Good morning Chunnie.” “Jaejoongie, are we going to meet up as we planned, today?” he asked. “Yup,I will be picking you up in an hour time at your apartment, will that be okay Chunnie?” I replied.
“Sure Jaejoongie, well see you later baby,” he said as he ended the call. I slowly made my way to get ready, once readied; I made my way out of the house.

I was having my shower, when I heard someone close the front door. “I’m sure he went out to meet that guy since this is the weekend. He must have some plans with him,” I thought to myself. While I was having breakfast, my phone rang, “Yeobsaeyo” I answered. “Good morning baby,” MinMin replied.
“Good morning MinMin, so why did you call early in the morning baby?” I asked. “Minnie, I will like to meet up with you today. Remember, I promise you 2 years ago that I would spend more time with you when I return,” he said.
As I heard that, it brought a smile on my face. “Sure MinMin, I would love to spend my time with you,” I replied.

“Alright, I will pick you up in an hour time, see you later baby.” He ended with excitement in his voice. “I m happy that he remembers the promise he made. MinMin has never disappointed me before,” I thought to myself with a smile on my face.

(Flashback)Two years ago…
“Baby, how can you leave me here? You promise to stay by my side & spend time with me,” Changmin said with a sad voice.
“Baby, cheer up, I will only be away for 2 years. After I return, I promise to spend more time with you,” said Minho, in hope of trying to cheer up his Minnie.
Changmin just nod & gave Minho a weak smile & said, “Promise me that when you return, you will spend more time with me & continue to stay by my side.”
Minho gave him a big smile. “Alright, I promise. Don’t miss me too much while I am gone,” Minho said while teasing his Minnie, in order to lift up Changmin’s spirit.

Changmin just chuckled & said, “I won’t. I will just go & get a new best friend then.” Minho pouted at Changmin’s replied & chuckled. Changmin sure knows that he gonna miss Minho, someone that has been by his side for more than 5 years went through thick & thin together. Even though Minho was younger than him by a few years, Minho took good care of him, being his dongsaeng & only best friend. Changmin was glad that he meets someone as precious as Choi Minho. Choi Minho has always been the person to cheer him up when he is sad, someone who can read him like a book & someone that he will miss since 2 years would be longer than what he could imagine.

The sound of the car has waked me up from my daze. I made my way to the door, opened it up & was greeted by the sight of MinMin and he quickly gave me a bear hug. “Are you ready to go Minnie?” as he asked in excitement. I nodded my head while giggling at his cuteness. “Ok, let’s go,” he said while dragging me to the car like a little kid.

“Hey baby,” I said and quickly gave him a kiss on the cheek as soon as I arrived at his apartment. Chunnie just chuckled cutely & said, “Jaejoongie, are you ready to go?” he asked. I just nodded. “Let’s get going then,” he said, and both of us made out way towards my car.

“MinMin, where are we going today?” I asked as MinMin seemed so excited about it.
“I am bringing you out to go shopping & also to catch a movie,” he said in an excited tone.

I just smiled at his excitement. “You sure know, what I love to do when we are together,” I said with a sweet smile. He chuckled & said in a teasing tone, “Well, you are not my baby for nothing right? Of course I know what my baby loves & don’t.”

I chuckled to his replied & said, “Since when I m your baby, nobody agrees to be your baby.” I replied in a teasing tone. MinMin pouted at my replied. I just laughed & pinched his cheek as I can’t resist the urged to pinch it when I saw the cute pout.

Time passed as we shopped around the mall, it was already time for lunch. “Jaejoongie, I’m hungry,” Chunnie said with a cute pout. I just chuckled & replied,
“Ok, let’s go.” I took his hand & led the way to one of my favourite restaurant in this mall.

Upon reaching the restaurant, we took our seats & chose our food on the menu a while after that. While waiting for the food, my mind couldn’t help but wandered off to the scene where my ‘wife’ was hugging other man. That scene kept replaying in my mind. “Who the hell is he? Why does the smile on his face look so pure & natural when he is with that guy? Is that guy his lover? But why would I care if he has a lover, I got my Chunnie.” I tried to shrug the thoughts away.
“Jaejoongie” I heard Chunnie calling out for me. “Yes, baby,” I replied. “Jaejoongie, you have been spacing out on me for quite some time. Is everything alright?” he asked in a worried tone. “Sorry, I was thinking about some work stuff,” I replied giving him a smile, just to assures him. “Its ok baby but you have to stop thinking about work for once. You have to relax your mind since it’s the weekend,” he replied giving me a cheerful smile, I just nodded to his words.

“Baby, talking about works, there this new model that joined in about last week. Even though he is a newbie, he is well known in the modelling world. It seems that he started modelling when he was still studying back in States. He is a loveable dongsaeng. I think you gonna like him if you got to know him, well I know I do,” he ended his words.
“Really, he must be a good dongsaeng then since you sound so excited telling me about him. You must have really liked him a lot.” I replied and he just nodded as our food arrived just in time for us to enjoy it.

“MinMin, I’m hungry. Let’s go & have lunch now,” I said with a pout.

“Alright, Minnie,” he said as he chuckled seeing my pout. As we walked passed a few restaurants, I decided to enter the restaurant that caught my attention. As I was dragging MinMin beside me to enter the restaurant, I saw something or more specifically, I saw someone that I don’t want to see the most or particularly I hate seeing because it will only make me lose my appetite . I decided to turn back, leaving the entrance. “Minnie, what’s wrong?” MinMin asked while his face was still facing the entrance & holding on to my hand.
“MinMin, let’s go somewhere. I don’t find here appealing anymore,” I replied. MinMin turned & faced the same direction as me and asked, “Where do you want to go now baby?” I was about to answer when…

“Dongsaeng” I heard someone calling out from behind us.

As the voice kept calling out from behind, MinMin quickly turned his head. His earlier face expression that was in a glint of surprise, suddenly turned into a smile. Seeing his reaction I can’t help being curious & quickly turned my head and I was greeted by the sight of a man that was seated next to my ‘husband’ a few minutes ago.

“Yoochun hyung” I heard MinMin calling out for the man. “MinMin knows him. Why didn’t he tell me about him?” I kept questioning myself in my mind. “Baby, are you ok?” I heard MinMin asked. “Yup” I replied giving him a smile. Returning with a smile, he grabbed my hand into his. I didn’t even realise when did he let go of my hand in the first place & then dragged me to meet the guy name Yoochun. “Hyung, this is Changmin,” he said while facing that guy and he turned towards me & said, “Baby, this is Yoochun hyung.” I just smiled and nodded at him. “Nice to meet you,” Yoochun finally spoke out after being silent during the introduction. ”Nice to meet you too,” I replied. ” So dongsaeng, are you here to have lunch?” he asked MinMin. ”Yup” MinMin replied. “How about you join me for lunch? It will be nicer if there are more people joining for lunch,” he said. MinMin turned towards my direction & asked “Minnie, would it be alright if we join hyung for lunch?” Not wanting to disappoint MinMin, I just nodded & he smiled happily while dragging me to the table.

When I heard Chunnie calling out dongsaeng, I turned my head towards the direction he is calling out to. I saw two figures & one of the figures looked familiar to me. I kept on looking from my seat as Chunnie went to approach them. When the first figure face came into sight it was nothing but as soon as the second figure face came into view, I was shocked. “What the hell is he doing here? Is the guy beside him, the same guy that hugged & kissed his forehead that night? Why is he talking to Chunnie?” as question kept popping up in my head. “Jaejoongie” I heard Chunnie calling out for me. ”Yes” I replied and I saw three figures standing in front of me. “Jaejoongie, you don’t mind that my dear dongsaengs join us for lunch, don’t you?” he asked me. I just nodded my head in order not to disappoint Chunnie.

The sight of him made me wanted to leave the place that instant. I saw he nodded his head to the question that was directed to him by Yoochun. I quickly turned my attention to MinMin before I really lost my appetite if I watched him for too long. As the both of us took our seat, MinMin said, “Hyung, who is this?” he directed the question to Yoochun. “Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Kim Jaejoong, Yoochun’s boyfriend,” he replied the question before Yoochun did. There was a hint of surprise on Yoochun’s face upon hearing the answer. ”Nice to meet you too, Jaejoong hyung. I’m Minho & this is Changmin.” MinMin pointed to my direction with a smile on his face. He just replied MinMin with a smile that I can say which looks faked. There was awkward silence after the introduction and Yoochun finally spoke out, ”Dongsaengs ah, I think you guys should order your lunches.” MinMin nodded his head as he called out for menu. Upon receiving the menu, I scanned through it. The waitress arrived a few minutes later to take our orders and as I was about to open my mouth, MinMin beat me to it. “I would like to have……….” he ended the order & turned his head to look at me with a smile. I returned his smiles and I was still a little surprise. Finally I said, “MinMin, how did you know I wanted to order all that?” MinMin let out a small laugh & said, “Of course Minnie, they are all your favourites. How can I forget that baby?” I just smiled at his replied. “Dongsaeng, you are so sweet to remember all his favourites. Is there anything between the two of you?” Yoochun asked with a teasing voice. MinMin laughed & replied “Of course hyung, he’s my baby after all,” he pinched me on the cheek & I just pouted in reply.

“Of course hyung, he’s my baby after all.” I heard that Minho guy said and he pinched my ‘wife’s’ cheek & his replied with a pout. I could feel my blood boiling as I saw the both of them laughing, whispering into each other ears & they are holding hands, totally ignoring both Chunnie & me. As I was busy looking at the ‘couple’ in front of me, ”Jaejoongie,” Chunnie called out for me which also caught the attention of the other two. Seeing that their attention is now on us, I replied, “Yes, baby,” putting my hand around Chunnie’s waist. “You are spacing out again, are you ok?” Chunnie asked with a concern tone. I just nodded & smiled as I started whispering & acted just like how the ‘couple’ in front of me did just a few minutes ago but none of my action caught their attention, instead they were busy eating their lunch & laughing which made me felt more irritated.

”Jaejoongie” I heard Yoochun’s voice. Both of our heads, mine & MinMin, turned to their direction. “Yes, baby,” he replied Yoochun & put his hand around Yoochun’s waist. As soon as I saw that, I turned my attention to MinMin & continued eating while laughing at his jokes.

Jaejoongie is acting weird today. He was distracted by the action displayed by Minho & Changmin. I called out for him & asked if he is ok. He just nodded & put his hand around my waist. “Somehow the name Changmin sounds so familiar,” I thought to myself, after thinking for a while. “Could it be, that the person in front of me is Shim Changmin, Jaejoongie’s “wife”? “ I asked myself as I saw the irritated look on Jaejoongie’s face.

(Changmin’s Pov)
After finishing our lunch, MinMin got into a little conversation with Yoochun. I just kept quiet while playing with MinMin’s hand that was in mine. After a while, I heard Yoochun’s voice directing a question at me. ”So Changmin, how long have you guys know each other?”

“Well, we know each other for quite long, even before he left for States,” I replied with a smile. Yoochun just smiled & said, “You guys looks cute together, dongsaeng ah you got good taste,” directing it to MinMin in a teasing voice which earned a laugh from MinMin & a blush from me. “Of course, my baby here is the cutest. Right Minnie?” MinMin said to me with a teasing voice which caused me to blush more & a laugh from Yoochun. I saw the glare from him & the irritated look on him. I just laugh in my mind, enjoying the look on his face.
After a while, I noticed the time & said, “MinMin, I think we should take our leave now, before we are late for the movie.” “Yup, I almost forget about that,” MinMin replied. ”Wow! How romantic. A movie date” Yoochun said in a teasing voice again as soon MinMin finished his words. The both of us laughed as Yoochun finished his word.

After biding goodbye, MinMin grabbed my hand & we made our way out of the restaurant. “That seems to be the longest lunch I ever had.” I said to myself.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
While Chunnie was having a conversation with them, I just kept quiet & observed them. I got more irritated & felt that my anger is burning up. “It was the first time I saw my ‘wife’ laughed, smiled but not the fake smiles that he gave me during the wedding & he even blushed. I just hate seeing that happiness on his face & hate that Minho guy even more when I saw him holding on to his hand as they left.” I thought to myself. “Jaejoongie” Chunnie called out. “Yes baby” I replied instantly in order not to make him worry again. “So do you like Minho?” he asked. “Yup, he is a loveable & sweet dongsaeng. Why did you ask?” I replied. “Well, he is the new model I told you about & I was right about you liking him.” he replied with a big smile. I just nodded when he continued, “They look great together right?”
“ Who?” I asked. “Changmin & Minho,” he replied. I nodded my head in respond.

After spending time at Chunnie’s place, I decided to make my way back home. When I drove my car in, I noticed that the house was not lighted up again like the other day. As I made my way into the house, I decided to have a drink & rested in the living room. “Are they lovers? Why do they look so intimate & so happy together? Why was there no respond from him when I started to be intimate with Chunnie? But why would I care if he’s intimate with that Minho guy. He’s just my
‘wife’ by name not by heart.” The sounds from my stomach pulled me out from my thoughts and I made my way to the kitchen, I found some food that was made by him in the fridge. Feeling really hungry I just warmed up the food without much thought. “Wow, it tasted delicious. Why was I so stupid to throw it away before? But maybe because I’m really hungry that is why I thought it’s delicious. I think Chunnie is a better cook than him.” I thought to myself.
After eating, I went back into the living room & rested there. I drifted off to sleep in just matter of minutes.

As MinMin car drove in, I noticed that the house light was on, “His back,” I thought to myself. After a bear hug & a kiss on my forehead like always, I bid MinMin goodnight & sweet dreams & he replied in a cheesy voice, “Remember to dream of me tonight.” as he waved & went back into the car. I just laughed at his words & waved back. After MinMin drove off, I made my way into the house, opened the door quietly and slowly made my way passed the living room when I saw him sleeping on the couch. I was just about to walk away when I heard a sneeze from him. “Aish, why did he sleep here, on the couch? He is already sneezing. This jerk gonna catch a cold if he is still sleeping here,” I thought to myself and I made my way into his room & got a blanket. Went to the couch & covered him up and as I looked at his sleeping face, I murmured “Babo”, after that I slowly made my way back into my room.

I was half awake when I heard the sound of the front door opened. I just kept quiet & closed my eyes. Not long after I heard faint footsteps sounds & I felt a blanket covering me up. As I felt that he was looking at me, I just kept my eyes shut tightly. I heard him murmuring something but couldn’t make it out. As soon after that, I heard the sound of the bedroom door being closed & not long after I drifted off back to sleep.

Finally I am able to relax, after a busy day. While resting, I decided to call Chunnie to ask him out for dinner today. ”Yeobsaeyo Jaejoongie.” I heard the sweet voice on the other line, a smile spread on my face. ”Hey baby, how’s your day, doing the outdoor photoshoot?” I asked. ”Great Jaejoongie, I had a lot of fun.” he replied. ”Glad to hear that Chunnie, & baby I will be picking you up for dinner later.” I said. ”Alright baby, meet you later.” he said as he ended the called. ”I will just bring him home, order some foods & cuddle up in the sofa while watching a movie. Yup, that will be perfect, he won’t be at home anyway & why should I care if he’s at home. It’s my home anyway, I can bring home whoever I like.” I thought to myself with a smile on my face.

I just let a small laugh in respond as he continued,” Minnie, I missed your cooking, can you cook for me today baby?” he asked. “Sure MinMin, but I don’t have the ingredients at home; I think I will need to do some groceries shopping first.” I replied. “No problem baby, I will pick you up after my photo shoot & then we will just do the shopping together as I will help you out in the kitchen after that. Is that a deal baby?” he asked. “Deal” I replied as a smile cross my face. ”Ok, see you later Minnie.” as he ended the conversation. ”I’m sure that it gonna be fun today. Well, it is alright for MinMin to have dinner here since he won’t be at home like always & probably be at his boyfriend’s place after all.” I thought to myself as I slowly focusing back to my book.

“Baby, are you sure it’s fine to bring me back home?” Chunnie asked in a worried tone. I just nodded my head to reply to his question while my eyes were still on the road. “What if he’s at home, what will you do?” Chunnie asked once again. “Don’t worry, Chunnie. It’s my house & I have the right to bring you home.” I replied as I give him an assuring smile. He just nodded his head & smile back. Not long after, we arrived as I noticed that the house was not light up. “Just as I thought, he must be out with that Minho guy again but that will be better since I can spend time with Chunnie alone.” I thought to myself as I quickly grab Chunnie’s hand & lead him towards the house.

(Changmin’s Pov)
“MinMin it’s been a long time since we do groceries shopping together right?” I said. “Yup, I really missed the time like this when I was back in States & especially your cooking.” he replied. I just chuckled & said, “No worries, baby. You will be able to enjoy it tonight. He just nodded with a smile on his face but his eyes were still focusing on the road. After a few minutes of silence, MinMin break the silence & said, “Baby, I have been curious about this for quite sometime but why are you not leaving with your umma & dongsaeng anymore?” I was a bit surprise but didn’t show it when an unexpected question was directed to me. “MinMin, can I tell you once I’m ready?” I replied. “Sure baby, I will wait & no hurries.” he replied as he turn towards my direction & give me an assuring smile. “Thanks baby, you always understand me the best.” I replied & smile back in return. After that we just keep quiet & enjoy each other
company during the ride.

As I entered the house a while back, it was empty. I asked Chunnie to make himself more comfortable as I excused myself to change into something more comfortable. After changing, I make my way back into the living room as I saw Chunnie relaxing on the couch. “ Baby.” I said as I get myself seated beside him. “Yes, Jaejoongie.” he replied. “Are you hungry yet Baby? You want to order some foods now?” I asked in a concern voice. “Not yet Jaejoongie, I will tell you if I am.” he replied. “Ok then baby, how about I go & get us some drinks & we can enjoy a movie after that.” he just nodded & smile to my suggestion as I make my way to the kitchen & get some drinks. After inserting the dvd in to the player, I dim the light a little & make my way to be seated beside Chunnie. In just a matter of minutes, both of us are cuddled up in each other embrace while enjoying the movie.

“The house seems to be light up a little, is he home? Nope, it can’t be maybe I just forgot to close the light properly before leaving.” I shrugged of the thought that I get as soon as the car arrived in front of the house. “Baby, let’s go in.” MinMin said. I just nodded my head & lead the way, while he’s right beside me carrying the groceries. As I open, I heard very faint sounds, feeling curious I open up the light. The sight that greeted me when the view is clear was something I never expected. My feet were rooted to the ground & no words can come out of my mouth. “Baby, where should I put all the stuffs?” I heard the question directed to me but soon I heard another question that I never wish to hear, “Minnie, what is Jaejoong & Yoochun hyung doing here?” Once again a question was directed to me but I have no words to reply. It was an awkward & intense silence for a few minutes when my ‘husband’ finally spoke up, “What is he doing here?” he asked in an irritated tone directing the question to me. After putting my mind in order I speak up, “That was supposed to be my line, what is he doing here?” I asked back pointing towards Yoochun. “He’s my lover, he has the very right to be here & this is my house so I have the right to bring whoever I like home. Ask him to leave this instant, i never allowed him in my house.” he said. I felt like slapping him in the face but I kept my cool, “Likewise, I have the very right to bring whoever I like home since this is my house too.” I replied in a clam voice as I grabbed MinMin’s hand & dragged him to the kitchen. I turn to have a peaked on his expression, he was totally irritated by my action & Yoochun was trying to calm him down. The moment I step into the kitchen, I turn around to face MinMin, gathering my energy I said, “Baby ah, Jaejoong is my ‘husband’, we have been married for a few months now & I know that you gonna hate me for not telling you.” Seeing no reaction from him, I turn around & slowly get the ingredients out of the bags . I felt tears drop on my cheek, “I should have never keep this marriage a secret, I must have really disappointed him.” as different thoughts keep popping up in my head. While I was cutting the vegetables, suddenly I felt someone hug me from behind & from the touch I know its MinMin, “MinMin, I’m so sorry.” I said. “Sorry, Minnie, it took me a while to take in what you had just told me.” he replied. “Baby ah, this marriage has been hurting me & it’s not even out of love. The both of us just get married because of the promise my late grandpa & his grandfather made 10 years ago. I also didn’t tell you about this because I didn’t want you to get worried about me.” I ended my words as I can feel tears dripping on my cheeks. After a few seconds of silence, MinMin turned me around to face him & said, “Minnie ah, I don’t hate you for not telling me but remember baby ah, please tell if you are hurting after this, I am always right beside you to make you feel better, promise me that alright.” he said as he wipe away my tears & give me a bear hug, in return I give him a nod & a weak smile. “I’m hungry now, let’s starting cooking, shall we Minnie.” he said like a little boy with full of excitement. I just nodded as we both start working on dinner.

“Jaejoongie, calm down.” I heard Chunnie’s voice. I was able to clam down after a few minutes & said, “Sorry Chunnie, I lose my cool just now. Let’s just enjoyed the movie back again & ignore their present, shall we?” Chunnie just nodded his head & not long after we are back cuddling in the couch. I was trying to focus on the movie but my eyes can’t help wondering, trying to catch a glimpse of the scenes in the kitchen. When I saw that Minho guy, hugging my ‘wife’ from behind, I could feel that I’m starting to lose my cool again & not long after I saw him turning my ‘wife’ to face him as he touches his cheek & hug him after that.” What the hell is he doing to him? But why should I care with what they are doing, I have my Chunnie here & I should enjoyed the movie with him. I must be losing my mind to call him, my ‘wife’. I must remember that the one I love is Yoochun & he is just my ‘wife’ by name.” I remind myself as I try to focus back to the screen in front of me.

When I saw Changmin standing there, I’m sure that he is Jaejoongie’s ‘wife’. After Jaejoongie calm down, he suggested for us to continue enjoying the movie, but eventhough we are cuddle up together, I can feel that his is totally distracted. “Why must he be distracted everytime when Changmin & Minho were around. What is going on in his mind?” I asked myself hoping that the questions can be answered soon.

As I was hugging Minnie, I caught a glimpse that Jaejoong was watching us. “Why must he watched our every steps, he just acting like that day he did in the restaurant. I need to protect Minnie from hurting again as his dongsaeng & bestfriend.” I promise myself.

Finally, dinner was ready. After getting the food readied on the table, I took my seat & as I was waiting for MinMin to took his, “Minnie ah, can I ask Yoochun hyung to join us for dinner?” MinMin asked with a pleading voice, not wanting to upset him I just nodded my head. Not long after, I saw 3 figures approaching the table. “Let me get more plates for them.” I said to MinMin. He just nodded as he & the other two get seated. Returning to the table, I passed the plates to Yoochun & heard soft thanks in reply. MinMin was enjoying the food & said, “I really missed your cooking baby. Your cooking is the best.” I smile & said, “No worries MinMin, you can enjoyed my cooking anytime you crave for it now.” As the both of us continue eating while chatting, suddenly MinMin said, “Jaejoong hyung, why are you not eating?” as he directed it to him. “Why should I eat food that is not even for human?” was his replied. “Aren’t you being a little too rude towards Minnie?” MinMin said. Suddenly, he just stood up & said in a harsh tone, “Why should I respect someone like him, such a lowlife. Fancy using the promise as a reason to get marry to me. You are just acting, so that grandpa will love you. You are not as innocent & gentle as grandpa described. You are just someone that just trying to enjoyed a rich life by getting married to me. Is that how your parent educate you, tsk, to enjoyed life living right off people. Let me make it clear to you that having you as my ‘wife’ is the biggest shame in my life & even if you are not married to me, I don’t even wish to have someone like you as my servant.” he ended his words that was directed to me. I was about to reply him when MinMin beat me to it, “Who are you to judge him? Aren’t you being a little overboard here? You don’t even know him, so you don’t have the right to judge him.” MinMin ended with a calm tone. He let out a laugh & said, “Who are you to question my rights? You are just trying to protect your lover, how sad having a lover like him. Maybe you are just like him & that will make both of you a perfect couple, the both of you are just like beggar, begging for money by mixing with the rich, maybe that are the teaching of a child from a poor family.” he ended while smirking towards me & MinMin. He’s definitely too much. Accusing me, my family & even my bestfriend. That’s it Kim Jaejoong, you have just step over the boarder. I stand up & said in a calm voice, “I’m sorry, Mr Kim Jaejoong if I was a shame to you.” He expression change into a puzzle look, as I continue, “Here’s my apology gift.” I said as I grabbed a cup of water & splashed it on his face. “I hope you love it.” I said with a smile on my face. Seeing the furious & irritated on his face, I just smile more as I grabbed MinMin’s hand & lead him out of the house.

The sunlight shone brightly on my face, I woke up to find myself on the sofa in the living room. I quickly made my way toward the bathroom, in hope to have a refreshing shower after what happened last night.

(Last night)
After my ‘wife’ splashed water on me & left with a smile, I was burning with anger.
“How dare he do this to me? This makes me look like a fool; not only in front of my Chunnie, but in front of his lover. Just because he has his lover by his side, he thinks he can do anything to me.” I thought to myself.
After a while, I realised Chunnie was still there; I turned my body in his direction, where he was still seated beside me.
“Chunnie” I called him but, there was no reply.
A few moments later he abruptly stood up, which caught my attention. I turned until both of us were facing each other.
“Chunnie… what’s wr-?” before I could finish my question, I felt a slap hit my face.
Just then Chunnie had slapped me. He looked so hurt & disappointed.
“Chunnie, what was that for?” I managed to ask him, even though I was still shocked.

“So, that’s what you thought about poor people… that they are just beggars?!” he finally speaks up after slapping me. I was so taken aback & puzzled by his actions, it left me speechless as he continue
“If you really think that they are beggars, people who just mixed with the rich… then, that makes me one of them, since I come from a poor family & I am with you; a person who was born rich.” he ended.
“Chunnie, what are you talking about? Are you from a poor family?” I replied to his words.
“Yes. Why, you can’t believe it?” he answered.
“No, it’s just...” I couldn’t finish my words when he spoke again,

“Enough Jaejoongie, that’s enough. I’m totally disappointed & hurt by you. I didn’t expect that the man I love, care so much about… states & looks down upon the poor. If this is really the kind of man that I love, I’d rather not be with him because I know, he is gonna look down upon my family forever.” As he ended his words, I could see a tear fall down on his cheek.
He walked out of the house leaving me alone, furious & confused towards my own action. I rested on the sofa, as I was left with different thoughts jumbled up together in my mind.

After taking a shower, I make my way to the kitchen, to pour myself a cup of coffee. While drinking in the kitchen, my phone rang,
“Yeobsaeyo” I answered.
“Morning Jaejoongie, can I meet with you today at our usual place?” he asked in monotone voice.
“Yep sure Chunnie.” I replied in an instant.
“Ok, see you later.” he replied with the same tone & ended the called.
While I was driving myself to our usual place, I can’t stop my mind from wondering. “Why would Chunnie want to meet me today? I know that I need to apologise to him for my behaviour yesterday.” I tell myself.

(Yoochun’s Pov)
Arriving a little earlier, I decided to just wait while trying to sort things out in my mind. ‘I think it’s best if I let go of Jaejoongie, he was never mine to begin with. Now I know that his heart no longer beats for me, I have to let go of him.’ I told myself as I get my mind straight, waiting to face Jaejoong.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
Upon arriving, I saw Chunnie was seated at a corner, I approach him & said, “Hi Chunnie, waited long?”
“Nope, take a seat Jaejoongie.” he replied in a neutral tone.
Hearing that, I quickly took my seat. He started talking before I could, “Jaejoongie, I think we should break up.” He said in a serious tone.
I was so shocked hearing those words from him; it seems just like a dream. “You are kidding right? Chunnie” I said but was replied with a serious look from him. “Chunnie, I am so sorry if my behaviour & words hurt you yesterday, but please don’t do this to me.” I said.
“Jaejoongie, listen. I think this is the best for us. It’s not only because of your words yesterday but also your heart is no longer mine. From the beginning you are not mine & you never will be, so its better I let go of you now. It’s better than being hurts more in the future due to the reality that you can’t accepts that I’m from a poor family, which you also refers as beggars.” he ended his words sharp & clear.
It feels like a knife just cut through me, “Chunnie, I will never look down upon your family, you are my lover, I accept you the way you are & my heart still beats for you. Please, don’t do this to me, I love you.” I said in a begging tone.

(Yoochun’s Pov)
“…I love you.” he ended his words.
‘Why did it sound so empty when he said it? There’s not as much feeling to it like usual. I know I’ve made the right decision. Being by his side will hurt both of us, just like having him by my side but without his heart.’ I convince myself. I quickly stand up from my seat.
“Take care, Jaejoongie.” I said as I make my way out with heavy steps. “Bye, Jaejoongie.” I whisper to nobody as I continue my way out as tears made their way down my cheek.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“Take care, Jaejoongie.” he said as he makes his way out.

I wanted to call out for him but no words would come out of my mouth. My heart feels so heavy seeing his figure slowly disappearing from my sight. I slowly made my way out of there, getting into the car & driving back home. While driving, my thoughts were messed up, my feelings were yet again jumbled.
“Why did he break up with me? I love him but, why did he say my heart was no longer his? Could it be that I am jealous of that Minho guy with my ‘wife’ & that’s was also the reason for my behaviour yesterday? But why should I be jealous if the one I love is Chunnie. No, I still love Chunnie even though he’s broken up with me. I am not in love with my ‘wife’.” As I try to shrug off the thought. As I arrived back home, I decided to grab a glass of water in the kitchen to help me calm down. I made my way passed the dining table when I saw something on it. Walking towards it, I picked it up. I realised it’s the house key & a little note saying, “This keys belongs to you as it was never been mine. Shim Changmin.” After reading it, I quickly ran to his bedroom. As I entered the room, I found it empty. There was none of his belongings on the dressing table, no clothes in the closet or anything else; it was as empty as before he moved into this room.
‘When did he leave? Did he leave with that Minho guy? How can a ‘wife’ just leave his husband?’

As thoughts flooded my mind, I seated myself on the couch, resting my head which was still full of confusion; alone in the big, dark house, with just a small source of light. I thought to myself whilst staring at the ceiling…
“This is the loneliest day of my life.”

A week passed by just like that, leaving me alone without Yoochun or him by my side. My days passed by , going through the same old routine; a cup of coffee in the morning, leaving for work, skipping lunch & having dinner outside before making my way back home. I feel so empty & most importantly I miss him. I miss his voice, his face, his cooking & his smile. I just can’t get him out of my mind after he left. I finally understood why Yoochun left me, because he sees it before I do. I was so stupid not to realise that I had fallen for him & I was jealous seeing him so intimate with Minho. I realise it now but it’s too late, he left before I could even grab hold of him.

It’s good to be back after being away. There were not many changes here; things are still the same like it was before. “Minnie” I heard MinMin called me. I turn to face him, when he continues his words, “It’s good to be back right? I really miss the food here.” I just let out a laugh & said, “Yup, thinking about food makes me hungry.” as I pat my stomach & continue, “I also miss umma & dongsaeng, even though it’s just been a month away from them.” I ended my words. “Ok, let’s get going then.” he said after he nodded his head to my words.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“Jae” I heard someone called out for me. I turn my direction towards the voice & smile. “Jae, are you alright? Are you thinking of him again?"Yoochun asked. “ Yup, I’m alright Chun.” I answered while giving him a weak smile. It’s been like this for 2 years now, everyday I keep missing him more & wondering if he will ever appear in front of me again. It’s been lonely but things got just a little better when Yoochun was back in my life 6 months ago, not as my lover but as my bestfriend. I am happy that he found someone new & better than me, someone to take care of him & also someone that deserve him. ”So Chun, how was your weekend vacation with Yunho?” I asked trying to keep my mind away from him. “It was fun Jae, we finally get to relax & be away from our busy life. Sorry, you must be lonely when I was not around.” he said. “It’s ok Chun, you have to spend time with your Yunnie too. I understand.” I replied with a teasing tone which earns a small laugh from him. “Thanks Chun, for forgiving me & being my bestfriend. I hope that the smile on your face will never fade away.” I said in my heart while looking at his smile.
After meeting Chun, I decided to make my way back home when suddenly my phone rings, “Yeobsaeyo, Grandpa.” I answered. “Jae, come back to have dinner with us here at the mansion. Your umma misses you & it’s been quite a while since we have dinner together.” he said. “Alright, grandpa. I will be there soon.” I replied in an instant. “Ok, see you soon.” he said as he ended the called. After what happened 2 years ago, I try my best to follow his instruction, trying not to disappoint him again. The image of his disappointed look still remains fresh in my mind even though 2 years as passed.

Finally back home, after enjoying my umma’s cooking, I seat by the window enjoying the breeze, like I always did. MinMin as left earlier on, to get some rest himself while umma & dongsaeng were out to do some grocery shopping. While enjoying the silent, my phone rings, “Yeobsaeyo” I answered. “Hey kiddo, heard that you are back?” I heard a familiar voice on the other line. “Grandpa, how are you?” I replied back with a cheerful tone. “I’m fine kiddo, how about you & your family?” he asked. “We are fine, grandpa. Thanks for asking.” I answered “No problem kiddo, glad to hear that. So kiddo, are you free for lunch tomorrow?” he said. “Yup, grandpa.” I replied. “Ok, can I meet you then?” he asked once again. “Sure, grandpa.” I replied back again. “Ok, meet me at Timeless Restaurant.” he said. “Alright, grandpa. See you tomorrow.” I replied as not long after he ended the call.

Upon reaching the mansion, I was greeted by the maids like usual. My grandpa & my parents were chatting in the living room as I when to greet them. “I’m back.” I said. “Jae, you are here. Take a seat next to me dear.” my umma said. I took my seat & continue chatting with them. Not long after, dinner was ready as we proceed to the dinning table. While eating, it was every quiet when grandpa suddenly break it, “So Jae, how’s your work been? It seems that there is really not much progression from you. Do you have any problems?” he asked. “No grandpa. No problems at all“ I replied. “How can I work properly when my mind kept thinking of him? Even if I bury myself in work, it still doesn’t work at all. I’m too distracted to get myself to work properly.” I thought to myself. “Jae, you can’t keep on being like this, you are the director of the company.” grandpa said once again. I just nodded my head to his words, not knowing what to reply. “Jae, think about it alright.” he said. “I will, grandpa.” I replied as I continue eating.

I was busy checking some documents when I heard a knock on my door, “Come in.” I said. Lifting my head, I saw my assistance standing in front of me, “Sorry for the disturbance Mr Kim but the president it’s holding a meeting with the board of directors in an hour time.” as she informed me. I just nodded my head to her words as she bowed & take her leave.
An hour as passed & now I were seated in the meeting room with the other directors & the president. “I’m very sorry for the last minute notice on this meeting. Well, I have an announcement to make today. I’m going to be away from the company for 2 months.” he ended his words as he instructed something to his assistance which makes her leave the room. I was puzzle by the fact that grandpa is gonna be away for 2 months since he didn’t mention anything to me & also I was curious about what was going on. A few minutes later, a knock was heard & the door opened. As soon as the door opened, I was shocked by the sight in front of me. I wasn’t sure if I’m dreaming or it’s reality as my mind was full of questions. The sounds of chairs pulled me out of my thoughts as I realise that the others are already standing up to greet the guest.
After greeting, the president continued,” Everyone this is Shim Changmin, he will be taking over my place while I’m away. I hope everyone can be cooperative & work well with him.” as he ended his words. “Nice to meet you all. Please show me some guidance.” Changmin said as he bows to greet the other directors. At first I saw the surprise & unsure look on the other faces but slowly their expression change into a smile where else they was giving me a curious & doubt look as it seems that they are questioning in their head, “Why was I not the one being introduced?”, for a second I could feel my pride was hurt.

(Changmin’s Pov)
As soon as the door opened, I can see that all attention was on me & all of them have a puzzled & curious looked on them. As I was approaching grandpa, I spotted Kim Jaejoong among the others & his expression was full of question. As grandpa start talking & introducing me, I can see the surprise look with a hint of curiousness on their face. I mean who won’t doubt his word, announcing that a young person taking over the company & the weird thing is that the person is not even your grandson. I can see the hurt look on Kim Jaejoong’s face due to the questioning look the others was giving him & I was clapping in my mind,” Feel the pain when your pride is hurt, like how you hurt mine 2 years ago, you deserve it” I said to myself. My mind is still questioning the reason why grandpa requests the favour from me during lunch the other day.

(Lunch)
We were seated & enjoying our lunch while chatting. Suddenly grandpa looks serious as he spoke, “Changmin, can I request something from you?” I was a bit puzzle & curious to his question but I still nodded my head. He continued, “Can you take over my position in the company while I’m away? It’s not for long just for 2 months.” I was taken aback by the request, I was curious since he has a grandson that can fulfill the request. I was unsure but thinking about what he did for me 2 years ago. I was grateful to him so I just nodded my head & said, “Sure grandpa, if that makes you happy but can I ask you something?” He nodded his head & I continued, “Why is it me, I mean you have a grandson that you can request from.” He just smile & replied, “You will know when the time comes.” I just smiled in returned & nodded to his words but the curiosity in me never fades away.

After the meeting was done, I was still clueless on what was going on & the curiosity was killing me. I decided to question grandpa on what was going on. Not long after, grandpa left the room with him, I decided to make my way to grandpa’s office.

(Changmin’s Pov)
Upon reaching grandpa’s office, grandpa took a seat on the sofa as I took mine. With a smile grandpa said, “You did well today kiddo & for the coming 2 months this office is yours, so make yourself comfortable.” I just smile & said, “Thanks grandpa.” A few minutes later, a knock was heard, both of our attention was turned to the door, “Come in.” grandpa said. The door opened & reviles the person that I hated most, Kim Jaejoong. “Jae, have a seat.” Grandpa said as he took the seat that was located on the opposite of me. We are face to face with each other now & I just smirk at him as he had a puzzle & curious look on him. “Grandpa, what is going on? I’m clueless about everything.” he speaks out asking grandpa. “Jae, it’s a last minute decision so I didn’t have much time to discuss it with you.” Grandpa answered. “Even though it’s last minute, you should have told me before hand grandpa. Where my pride has your grandson & the only heir of Kim Cooperation? I was not even chosen as the acting president & to make things worse, I don’t even know who was replacing you.” he said with a hint of anger & hurt in his voice. I can see that grandpa expression change to a hurt look with a hint of anger & disappointment. “Jae, it that what you only care about, your pride? Now tell me, did you ever done something that I can be prideful about?
Have you ever thought about others pride or even about others feelings?” grandpa asked.

“…..about others feelings?” grandpa asked. I was confused towards my own action & words. I was about to said something, when grandpa beat me to it, “I think the time as come for to tell the both of you the truth behind everything.”

(Changmin’s Pov)
Upon hearing grandpa’s words, I started to become more curious to find out the truth. Both, mine & Jaejoong’s attention is on grandpa now, waiting for him to continue his words.
“Changmin, remember the day that you come to the mansion to say sorry for leaving Jaejoong & for not been able to fulfilled the promise.” Grandpa started as his words were directed to me. I just nodded my head in respond. “And I also requested that you did a favour for me instead so that it will made me feel better & less guilty because of Jaejoong’s wrong doing towards you.” he paused his words again. I look towards Jaejoong’s directions and saw an unreadable expression on him. I could never repaid grandpa for what he did for me 2 years ago.

A favour that will help me fulfilled one of my promises to your late grandpa.” I just nodded my head to his question. “I would like you to continue your studies in the State & don’t worry, all the cost & expand for your studies & daily life will be paid by me. You can bring along your umma & dongsaeng if you are worry to leave them here. Can you do it for me? It will make me feel better towards you.” he ended his words with a hopeful tone. Seeing how hopeful he was, I can’t say no to him. I nodded my head & give him a big smile.

“I had asked Changmin to continued his studies in the States & decided that after his return I should be giving back to him what that has been his all this time.” grandpa paused a while to read both of our expression & continue, “Jae, the real owner & heir of this company is Changmin.” directing his words to Jaejoong. I can’t believe what I just heard, “Is grandpa joking? If he is, it’s not funny. Why would I be the heir of the biggest Cooperation? I come from a middle class family. What is all this?” as many question pops up in my head.

“……of this company is Changmin.” grandpa ended, directing it to me. It took me a while to process what I just heard. “If he is the real heir, who am I ? Why did I grow up being the heir?” I asked myself as I was still trying to recover from the shock I had just now. “Grandpa, what is all this about? I don’t understand.” I heard Changmin asked.
“Changmin, the reason why your grandpa & I decided to promise each other this marriage between our eldest grandchild was because we believe that the both you can take care of the company well together while having each other as pillar of support. Your granddad is actually the real owner of the company, 10 years ago, I was your granddad’s employee but your granddad was a good boss & he treated me like a brother. When, he first opened up this company, it was small & he put me in charge .We made the promise towards each other as I can’t help feeling grateful towards him for trusting me. Everything goes well but one day, when your granddad’s biggest cooperation meets with a crisis, the company tumble down. Your family disappear & I was trying my best to find you all but there was no success. I started to work hard & make business better; promising myself to fulfilled that promise & return back what belongs to your granddad. I finally manage to find your family a few months before you granddad passed away. I can’t believe what I just heard, why does every words seem so unreal, “So I’m just an employee’s grandson. I have been looking down upon the heir of this company all this while.” as I was lost in my own thoughts.

As soon as grandpa’s words ended, I feel that all the words I hear was a lie but when I saw grandpa’s tears on his cheek, I know that was not a lie. “I had never dreamt of becoming an heir of the biggest company & I did become one, overnight. Am I dreaming or is this reality?” I keep asking myself in my head. “Thanks, grandpa for telling me the truth.” I said giving him a weak smile. He smiled as he turns towards Jaejoong’s direction & said, “Jae, I hope you understand.”

I nodded my head to grandpa words & give him a smile. “I will just have to accept my fate, maybe this is what I get for hurting the ones I love, including him.” I said to myself.

(Changmin’s Pov)
After seeing he nodded his head, I realise that I had something to discuss with him. I know that even if we are separated for 2 years, we are still consider husband & ‘wife’ since none of us file a divorce. I decided to file a divorce upon my return; I won’t return to him & have him hurting me & my pride again. Once is enough for me, I don’t want to go through it again. I’m happy with my life now without him. I know that this decision will hurt grandpa but I have no choice.
“Jaejoong shii, I would like to file a divorce.” I said directing it to him. I saw a shocked look on his face & disappointed look on grandpa. “I’m sorry, grandpa.” I said directing to grandpa.

Hearing the word ‘divorce’, it feels like a knife cutting through my heart. I can see the disappointed look on grandpa, the same look I saw 2 years ago. “No, I can’t let go of him now. I can’t disappoint grandpa again. I can’t let him leave me for the second time; I must make sure this marriage works. Even if I can’t get his love, it will be good enough if he forgave me for whatever I had done 2 years ago, it will make me feel better.” I said to myself. As I thought of something, “Changmin shii, can we have a deal?” I asked.

“..…..have a deal?” he asked. I was a bit puzzle but manage to ask, “And what could it be?” “We have a deal, which it’s that you will stay with me for 2 months, during the same period that you will be the acting president, if after 2 months, you still can’t forgive me & be with me, I will divorce you. If you are not accepting for my sake then I hope you will do it for grandpa sake.” he said turning his head to grandpa direction. I turn my direction towards grandpa & saw the hopeful look on grandpa. I can’t disappoint him, he has been taking good care of me maybe I should agree for grandpa sake. “Ok, I agree but it’s all because of grandpa.” I said as I turn to grandpa & give him a smile.

I just nodded my head to his words & smile. I’m glad that he accepted the deal. “I will make sure he stay by my side, if he ever leave my side for the second time, I could never forgive myself.” I promise myself.

While relaxing on the sofa & reading, my phone rang, “Yeobsaeyo, grandpa” I answered.
“Kiddo, are you busy now?” he asked. “Nope grandpa, just relaxing.” I replied.
“Well kiddo, I called to inform you that I will be leaving in 2 days time, so on the day I leave you will start your duty as the president.” he said. “Ok grandpa, I hope that you will have a good rest this 2 months & don’t worry about the company, I will make sure to do my best.” I said in a voice full of confidence. I could hear a chuckle as grandpa said, ”I’m sure you will kiddo & also just to tell you that Jae will be picking you up with your stuff tomorrow, so make sure to wait for him.” he said. After replying ok & saying bye, the called ended.

I decided to take a 2 days off as it’s to get the house ready for his return & also to pick him up tomorrow. I must make him feel welcome in this house. “I will never make a tears slide down his cheek ever again.” I promise to myself.

After having breakfast, I sit by the window again. The air was so cooling & refreshing that it helps my mind to relax. My mind couldn’t help but wonder why he was being nice as to pick me up.” Did he change in these 2 years? I doubt so, it must be an order from grandpa to treat me nicely.” I say to myself to stop me from wondering. A knock on the door was heard as I quickly made my way to the door. Upon opening the door, I saw him standing with a smile on his face & a fruit basket in his hand. “Changmin shii, I’m here to pick you up & also to visit my mother-in-law.” he said. “Am I hearing the correct thing? He wants to visit my umma after calling us beggars 2 years ago.” I thought to myself. Before I could replied, I hear a voice calling out for me, “Min ah, who is it?” my umma said while approaching me. “It’s Jaejoong, umma.” I replied to her question. “Let him in, I will go & get some drinks for him.” she said making her way to the kitchen.

As I made my way into the house, I took the time to look around. While waiting for my mother-in-law, I observe the surrounding, the house it’s just right to fit in the small family & has a homey feeling to it. He was seated on the other sofa & was distracted by the tv in front of us. Not long after, my mother-in-law appeared with a tray of drinks with her. After having the drinks ready on the coffee table, she took a seat beside him. “I’m very sorry for not visiting you earlier on, Mrs Kim. I hope you can forgive me” I said to my mother-in-law, hoping that she will forgive me.” She smile & said, “I forgive you for not visiting but I think someone deserve your apology more then me & also called me “umma” from now on.” I smile & nodded to her word as I look at him. I was just about to say something to him when he stand up & said, “Umma, I will be in my room to check some stuff.” as he left after his words,
The living room was in silence for a while, as I remember the fruit basket & said, “Umma, I brought you some fruits. I hope you like it. “I said passing her the fruit basket. ”Thank you, Jaejoong,” she replied with a smile. I just smile & keep quiet wondering if he will ever forgive me.
Soon I was lost in my thoughts but not long after I heard my mother-in-law calling out for me, “Jaejoong, are you ok? You seem to be spacing out.” she asked. I just nodded & said, “I’m ok umma.” “Jaejoong ah, listen.” she said moving near to me. “Don’t worry, I’m sure that Changmin will forgive you one day. He is just angry at you right now. Don’t give up without even trying. The day will come, you just need to be patience with him.” she ended her words. “Thanks umma, I will do my best.” I said giving her a smile. Not long after that, the both of us made our way back to “our” home.

Upon stepping in the house after 2 years, I can see that there are not many changes.
While looking around I heard him calling out for me as I turn my direction towards him, “Changmin shii, you can move in to the room beside mine. Do you need help unpacking?” he asked. “No, I’m fine.” I replied in a monotone voice as I made my way into the room, not waiting for another words from him.

He just left me alone in the living room & I can sense that the awkward atmosphere is building up. After a few minutes of thinking, I decided to get the ingredients for dinner ready so that I can get dinner ready in time. It will just be perfect if he finish unpacking & resting by dinner, so that we can enjoy dinner together.

After finish unpacking, I decided to rest. While lying on the bed, I heard my phone rang, “Yeobsaeyo MinMin.” I answer. “Hey baby, what are you doing now?” he asked. “Just finish unpacking, I’m resting now.” I said. “I see. Hyung, remember to tell me if he hurts you again ok? Don’t keep it to yourself.” he said with a serious tone. “I know MinMin & since when you called me “hyung”? You are making me sound old.” I said in a teasing voice. “You are old, hyung.” He replied with the same voice & emphasizing on the word “hyung”. I just let out a small laugh & said, “Why did you called, dongsaeng?” I asked, emphasizing on the word “dongsaeng”. I heard a small laugh before he replied,” Well I been busy since returning from State & hasn’t been spending time with you, so I decided to ask you out for dinner? So are you available for dinner or you having dinner with him?” he asked. “Nope, why would I have dinner with him? I rather have dinner with you.” I replied. “Ok then, see you in an hour time.” he said as he ended the call. After the call, I decide to have a few minutes more of rest before getting ready for dinner.

Finally dinner was ready as I slowly scoped the dishes on plates & bowls. A few minutes later, I hear the sound of a door opened as I quickly get all the dishes ready on the table. Soon, he appeared all dress up. “Changmin shii, dinner is ready.” I said while calling out for him.
He turned to my direction & said, ”I’m going out.” Before I could even say another word, I hear a car honk & in split second he is already making his way out of the house. He left me & also the foods on the table, untouched.

“Why would I want to eat his cooking when he never appreciate mine, his is lucky that I’m not like him, to throw the food into the bins. At least I don’t waste food like he did.” I thought to my self as I made my way to the car. Upon entering the car & seated, MinMin greeted me with a bear hug like usual & I just smile towards his action. After that, he started the engine & drove off.

As I was curious by the car horn, I decided to peek on the side window. What I saw makes my heart feels heavy & ache as if the pain is slowly killing me. The man I love hugging & smiling with the same guy from 2 years ago. “They are still lovers.” I thought to myself as I slowly made my way to the sofa & without even realising a tear drop on my cheek.

While having dinner, MinMin called out for me, “Minnie ah, I need to tell you something.” he said. I just nodded my head & he continues, “I will be going for a photoshoot in Japan for a week.” “So when are you going to left?” I asked in a concern tone. “I will be going in 2 weeks time so I decided to tell you in advance,” he said. “Ok then, take care of yourself & don’t over work yourself.” I said in a brother like tone. “Alright, hyung.” he said giving a smile. I just smile back in return & not long after I decided to ask MinMin to took me home, so that I get some rest as tomorrow will be the first day I start my duty as president. Soon upon reaching home, I gave MinMin a bear hug as we both say good night to each other & not long after he drove off. I slowly made my way into the house as I realise the light was still on, upon reaching the living room, I saw him asleep on the sofa. “Aish, why is he sleeping on the sofa? The weather is cold today, isn’t he cold sleeping there.” I said to myself as I move closer to get a better view. Seeing him shivering, I decided to get a blanket from his room. As I cover him up, I looked at sleeping face & said in a soft tone, “Babo, what if you get sick tomorrow, you still need to work.” As I slowly made my way to the kitchen as to get a drink.

When I heard faint sounds approaching me, I just close my eyes tight. Being half asleep & awake, I thought I’m imagining the sounds. I was feeling really cold & was shivering when I suddenly felt a blanket cover me up, feeling warmth from the blanket put me back to sleep almost instantly.

Upon reaching the kitchen, I saw that the food was left untouched. “He didn’t have his dinner yet,” I asked myself. Seeing the food makes me hungry again, I decided to try some of the dishes.” It’s actually taste not bad, did he learn cooking the past 2 years?” I asked myself once again. I decided to push the thoughts away & enjoy a bit of dishes as the remaining I decided to keep it in the fridge. After getting it all done including a shower, I when off to bed.

The sounds of my alarm clock can be heard clearly in the morning, it’s a brand new day & I hope it’s better than yesterday.
After having my shower, I made my way to get breakfast ready like very other morning in these 2 weeks.

(Changmin’s Pov)
After getting myself ready, I took the extra time to enjoy the breeze by the window. I can hear sounds from the kitchen like every other day. “He must be getting breakfast ready.” I thought to myself. I can’t help but to notice the changes in him, “His really doing his best at work these 2 weeks & I’m sure grandpa will be happy to hear this. He also greeted me every morning, makes breakfast & dinner & lastly he waited for me to be home every single day. He seems to change but I doubt it, I mean he had fooled his family 2 years ago, to make them believe he loves me & he can repeat the same thing again, to make me believe that he has change this past 2 years.” I conclude to myself as I get ready to make my way out of the room. “MinMin should be arriving soon.” I thought as feeling a bit guilty for making him drive me to work since I haven’t got a car of my own.

The dishes were ready on the dinning table when I hear the door. Soon he appear, “Good morning, Changmin shii. Breakfast is ready.” I said but as usual there was no reply from him. After a few minutes, the door bell rang as he quickly makes his way to answer it, “Minnie, good morning.” I hear his lover‘s voice the moment he opened the door. A smile spread on his face as he said, “Morning, MinMin.” as he got a hug as a reply to his word. “Let’s go.” he said. Soon, the two of them disappear out of my sight. Once again, I’m feeling disappointed & sad & yet again it’s feels that the cut in my heart gets deeper seeing the hug & smile. I get myself ready for work after having breakfast alone again.

“MinMin, I’m so sorry for making you drive me to work. I should really get a car soon.” I said. “It’s ok, Minnie. I had fun driving you & it’s not like I drive you every single day, just on certain days & on others days you took a cab to work. I also get to spent some time with you & it’s makes me happy since I have been really busy now days so it’s not really a big deal.” he replied with a big smile & I just replied with a smile too. “But you should really get a car, so it’s easier for you.” he added. I just nodded & said,” I will think about it & also today I will be having dinner at umma’s house so would you like to join us?” I asked. “I would love too.” he replied with excitement in his tone. I just smile to his childishness & thought, “When will you ever grow up, my dear dongsaeng.”

I was busy helping umma in the kitchen as my dongsaeng & MinMin is busy setting up the dinning table in the living room. I was just enjoying the silence & the companionship of my umma when,”So how are you & Jaejoong getting along?” she asked. “I just give him a cold shoulder.” I answered without thinking much. “Why? Did he treat you badly again?” she asked again. “Nope, there are some changes in him…” as I continue to tell her the changes I notice.
“But I can’t believe that he change, maybe his just acting to make me believe & forgives him.” I added as my umma listen to my words.
After a few minutes, my umma call out, “Min ah” as she pull me to have a seat in the living room since we had finish cooking a few minutes ago, “Listen dear, why don’t you give him a 2nd chance to prove himself? Why don’t you give yourself a 2nd chance to? Min ah, don’t be blinded by hatred, it’s will just make you like him 2 years ago.
Learn to trust him even if it’s just for this once, it’s doesn’t hurt to try right? Remember, it’s true his sorry doesn’t erase your pain but at least it will make you & him feel better right?” she ended as I just nodded as umma’s words repeated in my head. “I will think about it & thanks umma.” I said once again giving her a hug. Not long after, we enjoyed our dinner.

The sounds of the door opening was heard earlier the usual, I turn around to see him coming out of the door.
“Good morning Changmin shii” I said in a cheery voice as I turn back focusing on the soup that I was stirring since I was not expecting a reply like every other day. “Good morning” he said in a normal tone. “Am I dreaming?” I asked myself as I turn back to face him. “Where is breakfast?” he asked pulling me out of my thoughts. “It will be ready soon.” I replied as getting a nod from him as a reply. I was so happy that his not giving me a cold shoulder anymore. Soon after, breakfast was ready. It was awkward breakfast indeed but I just keep smiling to myself like an idiot seeing him eating my foods. After breakfast, as he get ready to leave & before leaving the house,”I’m going.” he said

(Changmin’s Pov)
I noticed that he was smiling to himself while I’m eating breakfast. He must be really happy that I finally had dinner with him. ”Maybe umma was right after all, I should give him a 2nd chance.” I said to myself while waiting for a cab.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
A week has already past, his changes a lot which surprise me but I’m happy with the changes. My hope of him forgiving me & getting his love has just got higher. He will enjoy breakfast with me in the morning, he acknowledges my existence, doesn’t give much of a cold shoulder, & have dinner together, also text me if he will be home late so that I won’t worry about him.

I didn’t regret my decision so far since he has been treating me differently. He never shouted or be angry at me like he used to or never look down upon me. He also has so much progression in his work in this 1 month & I’m sure grandpa will be pleased to hear that.

I was checking some of the files when I hear a knock on my door, “Come in” I called out. A few seconds later, the door opened & reviles Chun, “Hi, Jae.” he said. “Chun, what are you doing here?” I asked. “I’m here to visit you since I hasn’t have time to spent with you & thought that maybe we can have lunch together.” he said. I just make a –o- shaped with my mouth.

I needed some files from Jaejoong as its nearing lunch; I decided to get the file on my own. As I was approaching his office, I saw someone familiar, ”Isn’t that Yoochun?” I asked myself. I decide to continue walking but what I saw makes me feel betray once again, ”So his still with Yoochun? They are in each other embrace.” I thought.
Soon I reached right outside his office when I heard, “Will you marry me?” sounding like Jaejoong’s voice & a “Yes” was the reply sounding like Yoochun’s voice. As I peak on the side window out of curiosity, I saw a wedding ring on Yoochun’s finger. Upon seeing that, I just made my way out of there feeling totally betray & full of regrets. “It’s not wise for me to give him a 2nd chance after all.” I said to myself.



(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“I also need to tell you something.” Chun added in. “What is it?” I asked. “Yunho propose to me.” he said while showing the ring on his finger. I was so happy & excited for him that I just hug him. “I’m so happy for you. When did he proposed to you?” I asked him while still in each other embrace. “Yesterday” he answered. I just make –o- shape with my mouth. He just chuckled to see me so excited for him. “So how did he propose? Did he say?” I pause for a while & try to imitate Yunho, “Will you marry me?” I said in a serious tone. “Yes” was Chun replied as we both laugh at my action. “I wish you & Yunho happiness, Chun.” I said while giving him a big smile. “Thanks Jae, I wish you will find your happiness soon too.” he said. I nodded in reply & said, “Let’s go for lunch Chun, I’m getting hungry.” After having lunch & catching up with each other, “Alright Jae, I need to go now as I will be meeting up with Yunnie later today.” Chun said. “Ok, see you around.” I said as we both parted ways.

After making my way out of there, I went back to my office & decided to bury myself in work. After a few hours, my phone rang, “Yeobsaeyo grandpa,” I answered. “Hey kiddo, how have the both of you been lately?” he asked. Not knowing how to answered, I said, “We are both good, grandpa.” “That’s good to hear kiddo.” he replied. “How are you, grandpa.” I asked out of concern. “I’m fine & same goes for your in-laws. Kiddo, can I ask a favour from you again?” he said. “Sure.” I said. “It’s seemed that I will be back later than schedule, can you manage the company until I’m back?” he asked. “Sure grandpa, take care.” I replied. The call ended not long after saying goodbye. After finishing my work, I look out of the window to rest my mind but the scene of them hugging & the image of the wedding ring keep repeating in my mind as the voice of each of them is like a music to my ear. “I should really clear my mind off the incident. Why would I be bother if he wants to marry Yoochun? I’ll just ask him to divorce me. I need to clear my mind & get rid of all the pain, the pain of being betray & fool.” I thought to myself. Finally I decided to head down to a near by bar, to have a few drinks alone which I hope to make me feel better, since I didn’t wanted to disturb my umma or MinMin with my problems & makes them worry.

As soon as I reached home, I decided to have a shower before getting dinner ready. After I finish cooking, I realised it’s already dinner time but he was not back yet. I just sat down at the sofa while watching some tv waiting for him to be home. A few hours later, he was still not back & it’s nearing 11pm . I was getting worry since I didn’t receive any text message or call from him informing me that he will be late.

(Changmin’s Pov)
As soon as I reached the bar, I started drinking. After a few hours & a few drinks, I feel that my head was starting to feel heavy. As a guy approach me, asking me to drink with him but I just pushed him away.

(Yoochun’s Pov)
As the guy approach Changmin, offering him drinks that as already been drugged but Changmin keep pushing him away. I dragged Yunho to Changmin’s direction as soon we get there, Yunho asked the guy to get away from him, lucky we noticed that the guy as drugged the drink & also that Changmin refuse to drink it. As soon everything over, I decided to call Jae to pick up Changmin.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
When my phone rang, I saw Chun’s name on the caller id, “Yeobsaeyo Chun” I answer. “Jae, come down to a bar called Moonlight Fantasy now.” he said. “Why?” I asked. “I found Changmin here. He’s drunk, you will need to pick him up.” he said. “Alright, I will be there soon.” I said ending the call & making my way to my car. After a 15 mins drive, I reach there, as I saw Yoochun, Yunho & a drunk Changmin who was totally knock out as his head was on the table. “Chun” I called out which gain his attention as I proceed to their direction. “Thanks Chun, Yun” I said to both of them. “No problem, I was just on my way out of here when I saw Changmin sitting here totally drunk & so I decided to call you.” Chun said. I just nodded my head when I was reminded that he told me he was meeting up with Yunho after we had lunch. “Ok Jae, we are heading home. Good night.” Chun said once again. “Good night.” I said to both of them as after that they headed out of there. “Changmin” I called out. As his head move slowly, he turned to my direction. “Let’s go home” I said holding on to him as to support his body. “No, I want to drink more.” he said while holding a cup, upon seeing that I quickly grab the cup away, “No more drinks for you, you are drunk.” I said. He refused to listen as he wanted to grab the cup back from me since that’s the only cup left. In order to stop his action, I gulp down the drink & said, “There’s no more to drink left. Let’s go.” He was whining but I just dragged him out of the bar, as I carried him to the car, I realise that he was already unconscious. After getting him into the car safely, I get myself in & quickly drive our way home. After I drive home, I quickly carried him into his room. After laying him down in bed, I decided to get a wet towel to clean him up & also fresh pieces of clothes. I was getting the wet towel in the kitchen when I started to feel weird & hot. “What’s wrong with me?” I asked myself. I decided to ignore that feeling & continue cleaning him up after getting the towel. I was changing his clothes when suddenly I felt that my head was heavy & soon darkness overcomes me.

(Changmin’s Pov)
The sunlight shines through my window as I can feel the heat on my face. My head was heavy due to last night; I slowly turn my body, when I saw a sleeping face next to me. “Am I dreaming? What is he doing in my bed?” I scream in my head as I slowly looked under the blanket & realised that I was naked. “AHHHH!” I scream out loud which cause him wake up from his sleep, “What is it?” he asked in a sleepy voice.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
….is it?” I asked still half awake. After rubbing my eyes, I finally realise that he was right in front of me, “What are you doing here in my room?” I asked. “Your room? This is my room, babo.” he answered. I look around the room & realise it was indeed different than my room. I turn to his direction & realise that he was covering his body with the blanket. I looked at myself & realise that I was naked too, “What happened last night? The last thing that I remember was changing his clothes. Did anything happened?” I keeping asking myself in a confuse mind.

I realise that he was just as confuse as me from the look on his face, “Why did he ended up in my room? Both of us are naked, did something happened?” as I keep asking myself. “Changmin ah” he called out, I turn towards his direction as he said, “I think we had..” but I cut his sentence short, “ Nothing happens.” I said in a cold voice & make my way to the bathroom with the blanket covering me up. “Why did I end up in bed with my husband who’s getting married to his lover?” I asked myself.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
…happens.” he said in a cold tone. It feel like he was disgusted by me & he was in denial of whatever happens last night. The thought of it makes me feel so hurt, why can’t he even accept the fact that we are in the same bed for a night. That was how a married couple should be, to share a bed. I slowly get myself dress after picking up the clothes on the floor & make my way in to my bedroom. After getting shower & dress, I proceed to making breakfast.

After shower & getting dress, I decided to make my way out of the room. Upon, nearing the kitchen, I hear him said, “Good morning, Changmin.” like every other morning. I just walked straight towards the door without uttering a word & leave the house. “I hate you Kim Jaejoong, for everything.” I said to myself.

It’s been 3 weeks since that incident & everything change since then. He will give me a cold shoulder like before, he will always avoid me, not touching my food at all & every time our eyes meet, he will just give me cold glare. It’s hurts so much to see him acting back the way he was before but with so much more hatred in him. The wounds that once was healing, hurts again & it’s seems that cuts are bleeding. I can’t take anymore of his silence treatment; it’s making me go crazy. “Did that incident makes him hate me so much that it change him to a cold person once again?” I asked myself.

Three weeks as passed, I just bury myself in work, going back home really late & leaving home early in the morning while he still asleep as I try ways just to avoid him. Recently, I have been feeling sick & weak. I have been vomiting quite often this past 2 weeks. As I was checking so documents, I feel really tired & weak. I was worried about my condition & decided to go to the doctor during lunch. I walked out of my office & called out of my assistance, “Lina, can you cancel all of my appointments today? I’m not feeling well & I’m going to the doctor now.” “Alright Mr Shim, take care.” she said as I just give a weak smile in reply & made my way out of there.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“Jae, waited long?” Chun asked approaching me. “Nope” I replied giving a smile. “Ok, let’s go.” he said. Both of us make our way towards his car & not long after he drive off. “Jae” I hear Chun called out. I turn my attention from the window to him as he continued, “Thanks for accompanying me today. Yunnie has been busy with work that he rarely had time to accompany me for the wedding stuffs.” I just smile & said, “It’s the most I can do has your bestfriend, I’m sure we are gonna choose a nice wedding tuxedo for you today.” ending it with a small laugh. He just nodded & smile to my words. After that I was back lost in my thoughts when, “Jae, is everything ok? You are spacing out? Is there any problem with Changmin?” Chun asked as it diverts my attention to him. I just nodded to his question & he asked once again, “What happened?” “Well, remember that night when you asked me to pick him up at the bar?” I asked. He just nodded & I continue, “Well after you left, I dragged him home & once home I get him into bed. I decided to clean him up so I went to get wet towel in the kitchen when I suddenly feel hot & weird, I don’t know what was going on with my body but I just pushed the thought away. While I was changing his clothes I feel my head was heavy & soon I was unconscious of my own action when I feel darkness blacken me out. Where else the next day I found myself on his bed & the both of us are naked. He treated it like nothing happen, as if he was disgusted by the fact that we were in the same bed for a night. After that incident, he has been totally cold towards me & much worse than before. Does he hate me so much because of this incident? I wanted to explain to him but I’m not even sure what happened to me that night.” I ended with a sighing & a hint of sadness in my tone. Chun was in silence after my words when suddenly he said, “Jae, did you drink anything at the bar?” After recalling for a while, I nodded & said, “It’s to stop Changmin from drinking more, so I ended up drinking the only cup that was near him.” “You must have drunk the drugged drink by mistake.” Chun remarked. “Drugged?” I was confused by the remark. “Yes. Before you arrive, a guy was eyeing for Changmin as I saw him drugged the drink & offer it to Changmin but lucky Changmin keep pushing him away & I was there on time so Yunnie get rid of him. He must have left the drink there & you drank it by mistake. It’s also explains the feeling you had & the unconsciousness of your own action.” he ended his words. After taking in his words, “Chun, do you think anything happen that night?” I asked in an unsure tone. “I don’t know, Jae but if something really happens, it’s nothing wrong. The both of you are a married couple so it’s normal for you to be “sleeping” together.” he replied emphasizing on sleeping. I just nodded & said, “Thanks for the explanation, Chun. I will explain to Changmin on what happened if that the reason on his behaviour towards me now.” He just nodded & gave an encouraging smile.

(Changmin’s Pov)
“Mr Shim, you are pregnant.” the words keep repeating in my head & it’s like music to my ear. I can’t get the doctor’s words out of my mind.

(Flashback)
After going through a few tests, I was seated facing the doctor. I was getting curious as I asked, ”Doctor is there something wrong with me? Do I have a disease or something?” Before the doctor could answer, a knock was heard & soon a nurse appeared with a report in her hand. “Doctor, here’s the result.” she said. A nod was given as she took her leave. “Mr Shim, you are having a fever. Don’t overwork or stress yourself up & most importantly you must eat healthily & double up your food intake. Your intake of food is too little.” he paused his words. I was wondering why I was given such instruction if I only had a fever. “Why?” I asked in confusion. “Mr Shim, you are pregnant.” was his replied. Upon hearing it, I can’t get any words out of my mouth. He continued, “You are in your 2nd week of pregnancy. You have to take good care of yourself; I will give you medication to help you along during the pregnancy.” Not knowing what to replied, I just nodded my head. “Ok, I will see you on your next check up.” he said once again. I get up from my seat, give the doctor a small bow & took my leave.

(Present)
The sound of my phone pull me out of my deep thoughts, I just receive a text from MinMin saying that he arrived Japan safely. After replying to him, I just realise that I have nobody to depend on. Umma & dongsaeng is away visiting a friend in Busan & MinMin is away in Japan doing a photoshoot. “Just great” I thought to myself while sighing. My thoughts were diverted back to my condition, “Should I tell him about my condition? Something must have happened that night, if not I can’t be pregnant now. Aish, why did I get myself drunk that night?”I scolded myself. Upon realising that the driver stop at a traffic light, I looked out of window trying to relax my mind. I was attracted to a shop that I realise was a wedding shop but soon the scene that I saw makes me turn my head away from the window & luckily soon enough the driver drive off. “His busy choosing a wedding tuxedo with his lover. He look so happy & I’m sure his busy getting his wedding ready.” I said to myself when the scene replayed in my head. After thinking a while, “I decide that he will never find out about my condition. I will leave the house once I’m in a stable condition & once grandpa’s back. He won’t need this child anyway, once his married to his lover; they can have a child of their own.” I tell myself. Soon I arrived home & after paying the cab’s fees, I slowly made my way into the house. After having a glass of water, I made my way into my room. I laid myself comfortably in bed & soon I drifted off to sleep.

“Thanks for accompanying me today, Jae” Chun said while giving me a bear hug in front of the wedding shop. “It’s not a big deal.” I said. “Do you need me to send you home?” he asked. “It’s ok; I can take a cab home. You should go now before you are late. You are meeting Yunho for dinner right?” I said. A nod was given has a reply. Soon, we say goodbyes & when our separate ways. After reaching home, I wanted to get change before started to cook dinner when I realise his bedroom door was opened. “Why is it opened? Is he back from work already?” I asked myself feeling curious since his door is always close. I peek at the door & called out for him in a soft tone but then I realise there was someone on the bed, I come closer to have a better look. I saw him sleeping but his sweating & shivering. “What wrong with him?” I asked myself again. I decided to touch his forehead gently trying not to wake him up. “His forehead is hot, his having a fever. He must be overworking himself.” I thought to myself. I quickly made my way to get a thermometer & a wet towel. After taking his temperature which was high, I get the wet towel on his forehead. An hour has passed, I decided to leave him for a while & get some food ready for him so that he can have his meal when he wake up.

I was awaken by the sounds from the kitchen. I realise that there’s was a wet towel on my forehead. As I was trying to get myself up in a seating position while leaning on the bed headboard, I heard the door open & he appeared with a tray of food, “Let me help you.” he said grabbing on my arm & waist. “Don’t touch me.” I said as I pulled my arm out of his grip & try my best getting in that position on my own. Once I was in that position, “Changmin, if you are mad at me over that incident, I can explain to you on what really happen.” he said with a hint of pleading in his tone. “Get out.” I said in a calm tone. “But Changmin..” he said once again. I was irritated by his voice that I burst out, “GET OUT, NOW.” I shouted at him. “Ok, I will. Remember to eat the food.” he said with a hint of sadness in his tone while placing the tray on the table on the side of my bed & quickly making his way out. “Why would he bother even if I’m dying? His acting like has if he cared by putting wet towel on me, helping me up & even cooking for me. What can he explain to me, it’s no used talking about that incident anymore when I’m already in this condition.” I thought to myself. After an hour, I was getting hungry & realise that I haven’t took my medication. The doctor’s words repeated in my head, “….most importantly you must eat healthily.” I ended up eating his food as I can’t take medication on an empty stomach & also for the sake of the baby.

As I close the door behind me, I feel drops of tears making it way down on my cheeks. Upon hearing “don’t touch me”, it’s feels like the cuts in my heart keep bleeding profusely. He was so disgusted by me that I can’t even touch him & he won’t even give me a chance to explain myself. My heart hurts so much seeing his behaviour today, if by stabbing my heart can stop it from feeling all this pain, I would rather it being stabbed but I know my heart will continue to beats only for him even if it’s hurts. Without thinking about eating or drinking, I just made my way to my room.



(Changmin’s Pov)
The alarm rang indicating time to be awake for work after a week of rest. Even after a week of rest, I still feel week & get tired easily but I still need to continue my duty as the President of the company. I slowly get myself up & I made my way to the bathroom. After having a shower & getting dressed, I hear faint sounds of footsteps & soon after he appeared at the door with breakfast in his hand. I just ignore his existence & diverted my attention to the window. “Changmin” he called out. As he realise his not getting my attention like usual, he continued, “Changmin ah, are you sure of going to work today? You still look pale & sick. If you want, I can called in for you, saying that you are still recovering from your fever so you won’t be able to attend work.” A few minutes later, I just slowly get myself up & proceed walking towards the door, “Move” I said realising that he is blocking the door way.
“But Changmin, you still haven’t had your breakfast yet.” he said once again, still blocking my way. “Move’ I said once again in a higher tone. Once he slowly moved aside, I just made my way passed him & going straight heading for the main door. While waiting for a cab, I decided to have breakfast at a café nearby the company. “I need to feed the baby & I can’t take medication on an empty stomach.” I said to myself.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“Move” he said once again with a higher tone & as I move aside slowly, he just walked passed me & headed for the door. He left me like an idiot standing with a tray of breakfast in hand facing an empty bedroom. The past one week, he never let me near or helped him. Eventhough, if he is really weak, he will just slowly do it without asking help. Everytime when I touched him with the intention to help, the only words he said is, “Don’t touch me”. He was just ignoring me the whole week, giving me more silent treatment & the words that he spoke to me are only, “Don’t touch me.” & “Get out.” The only thing that makes me smile is that he ate the foods that I cooked for him. “When will he forgive me?” I asked myself as I proceed making my way out of the house after leaving the tray in the kitchen.

(Changmin’s Pov)
Looking up at the clock, I noticed it’s nearing lunch time. I was getting a little tired & hungry as I decided to stop my work & lean against my chair. Closing my eyes & resting my neck, it feels good.
Soon a knock was heard, “Come in” I called out getting back into the position I was in before. The door opens & reviled, “MinMin” I called out, surprise to see him. I slowly get up & give him a bear hug when he was near me. “Hey baby, miss me?” he asked with teasing voice. I just let out a small laugh while nodding my head & said,” MinMin, what are you doing here? I thought you were only supposed to be back by tonight or tomorrow.” “I manage to get the photoshoot done faster than schedule, so I was already backed yesterday night & thought of meeting you for lunch today.” he ended his words. I just nodded in understanding & said, “Let’s go for lunch then.” After ordering our foods,

“Minnie, are you ok? You look pale. Are you sick?” he asked in a worried tone. “I’m better now, I had fever last week.” I replied. He just makes a –o- shape with his mouth. After a few minutes, “MinMin, I need to tell you something.” I said. He just nodded & I continue, “MinMin, I’m pregnant. “ I said in a clam tone. A few minutes passed, not getting a reply from him I called out, “MinMin” “Sorry Minnie, I was trying to take in what you have just said. How did it happen?” he asked in a slow tone. I end up telling him about that night incident & how’s has Kim Jaejoong been treating me. “ …I can’t trust him even if he is being good to me now.” I ended my explanation. MinMin just nodded, take in all my words. “Minnie ah, doesn’t it seem to be a bit cruel to treat him like that & his is the father of your baby. He has the right to know about your condition, right?” MinMin remarked. As listening to MinMin’s words, “I know that I seems to be cruel treating him like that & he have the right to know about my condition but listening to him proposing to Yoochun, somehow it’s hurts eventhough I don’t love him or we did get marry not out of love but the pain of him lying to me & treating me like a fool. My pride as his “wife” is being hurt.” I thought to myself. “I know, MinMin.” I said giving him a weak smile. “Don’t stress yourself up, Minnie. It’s bad for you. Sorry if I’m asking to much.” he said. Soon our foods arrives, we start eating & continue chatting about my plans for this coming few months.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
A month passed but nothing as change, his lover will pick him up driving him to and fro from work. He never touched my food at all. Everday, I will just keep waiting for him to speak to me but he never did. I’m glad though that he looked better now, less pale & tired but he been frequently vomiting that it makes me curious. I can hear vomiting sounds from his room usually in the morning but he will look normal when he appeared out of his room before leaving for work. “Is he sick? He must be hiding something from me.” I thought to myself.

(Changmin’s Pov)
I’m glad that I’m in a more stable condition after a month passed but is just that my morning sickness can drain my energy sometime. MinMin will drive me to and fro from work & he will accompany me during my daily meals. I grateful that he is there to support me, he is the one that offers the rides & companionship. He say that it will make things easier for me & since I can’t strain myself & also get tired easily, I gladly accept his offer. Usually during weekends, I will have meals at umma’s place but umma’s have not yet know about my condition. “I need sometime before telling umma.” I told myself.

It’s the weekend, I decide to wake up & cook breakfast. After getting it readied, I made my way towards him room, give the door a knock before opening it. As I open it I realise that he was no where to be found but then I heard sounds admitting from the bathroom. Realising that he was showering, I slowly made my way to the table located at the side of his bed & place the tray there like usual. I was going to make my way out when something on the table caught my eyes, “Why is there a medical report in his room?” I asked myself. I was about to pick it up when, “What are you doing?” I heard his voice asking in a curious tone. I quickly retracted my hand & said, “Nothing”. Quickly I made my way out. Finding my way, to my room, “Something is definitely wrong, I need to find out.” I thought to myself with full of curiousness.

While showering I heard faint sounds, finishing shower quickly & get dressed. I make my way out when I saw him trying to pick up something on my side table. “What are you doing?” I asked being curious. “Nothing” was his reply & in split second, he was out from my room. Approaching towards my bed, I realise that my medical report was on the table. “Aish, I must have forgotten to keep it in the drawer yesterday after the check up. Luckily, I was in time to stop him from reading it & finding out.” I said to myself. I decided to eat the breakfast since I don’t want to disturb MinMin today, giving him more time to rest. He has been busy taking care of me, so he deserve to rest. I will just call him to pick me up for lunch at umma’s place.

After he left during lunch, I decide to have lunch alone like usual. A few hours has passed, now I’m resting on the couch while watching some tv. Upon hearing the door bell, I made my way towards it the door & opened it, “Chun” I called out in surprise, “Why are you here?” I asked. He just let out a small laugh & said, “I’m here with Yunnie to invite you & Changmin to our wedding & of course, to spend some time catching up with you.” I just nodded in understanding & greet Yunho, “Hey Yun, how have u been?” I asked. “Fine,Jae.” he replied. “Good to hear that, come let’s chat more inside.” I said & welcome them in. After chatting for quite a while, “So Jae, where is Changmin?” Chun asked after Yunho left for the toilet. Before I could answer, the main doors opened & revile Changmin.

(Changmin’s Pov)
It’s been an enjoyable lunch & spending some time there. After MinMin drive me home, I opened the door to be welcome with the sight of him & Yoochun in the living room. Wondering why Yoochun was here, I slowly made my way in. “Changmin, how have you been?” he asked looking at my direction. “Fine” I replied, trying not to be rude. He just nodded & said, “Have a seat here, Changmin. We have an announcement to make.” he said pointing towards the sofa located right opposite of him. Not having the mood & energy to argue with Yoochun, I just took a seat. A while later, a tall & handsome man that seems to be around Jaejoong’s age appear from the kitchen & took a seat beside Yoochun. “Who is that?” I asked myself. Without realising, Jaejoong was seated beside me, “Since Yunnie, is back now. Should we announce now.” Yoochun said. A nod was given by that man. “Yunnie?” I wonder again.

“Changmin, we would like to invite you & Jae to our wedding.” he said while passing the envelope which seems like a wedding invitation to me. “Our wedding?” I asked, still puzzled on what’s going on. “Yes. This is my future husband, Jung Yunho.” he said introducing the man to me. “Nice to meet you.” the man said. “Likewise” I replied. “So the one Yoochun is getting married to is Yunho & not Jaejoong. I misunderstand him all this time.” I thought to myself. “Jae” I heard Yoochun called out for Jaejoong, which caught my attention, “Jae, thanks once again for helping me choose my tuxedo & accompanying me to get the wedding stuff.” Yoochun continue. “Thanks Jae, for helping Chunnie. I’m glad he has someone like you as his bestfriend & also your “wife” since he havr been understanding towards you when you have to spent time with Chunnie.” Yunho added in before Jaejoong could reply to Yoochun’s words. “So Jaejoong & Yoochun are only bestfriend now.” I said to myself. “No problem Yun, Chun. It’s the most I can do of you guys & before I forget, this is my “wife” Kim Changmin, Yun.” he said.

“Did he just say my name with his family name?” I thought, still surprise hearing the words. Yunho just nodded & smile at me, I just smile back in return. Not long after, Yoochun & Yunho took their leave. I slowly get up & wanted to head towards my room, “Changmin” he called out. Stopping in my track, he continues, “Changmin ah, is there something wrong with you? I saw a medical report in your room. Are you hiding anything from me?” he asked. “What should I do now? I just found out that I misunderstood him all this time & he get treated coldly because of my own stupidity. Maybe MinMin is right, I should tell him since his the father after all.” I thought to myself. I turn & face towards him & said with an unsure tone, “I’m pregnant.” After a long silence he finally said, “It’s mine, right?” I just nodded my head & in split second, I was in his embrace. “Thanks Changmin. I’m gonna be an appa soon.” he said with so much happiness in his tone. After a few minutes, he releases me & it became awkward. “I should go & have my rest.” I said.
“Let me help you.” he said as he grip on my arm before I could answer him. Not bothering to argue, I let him led me. After he left the room, “I think I’m made the right decision by telling him. He is so happy to hear the news. Maybe another chance for the both of us won’t hurt & just maybe the existence of the pregnancy will makes us understand each other more.” I said to nobody before heading for the bathroom.

I’m so happy that I’m going to be an appa soon. I promise to take good care of him & make sure his always healthy. For the first time today, he didn’t say anything when I touch him instead he just followed my lead. “I hope tomorrow will be a better day.” I said to myself.

(2 months later)

(Changmin’s Pov)
As I twist & turn in my bed, “Aish,why can’t I just sleep & forget about it?” I asked myself. Looking up at the clock, it was already 3am in the morning. “I’m gonna disturb his sleep again but I’m craving for it.” I thought. A few minutes passed, unable to stand it anymore, “Yeobsaeyo, Jae” I said calling him in the room beside mine. “Yes Min.” was his reply in a groggy voice & soon he appeared in fornt of my bedroom door with his phone in his hand, half asleep. “Jae, I’m craving for some mangoes & ice cream. Can you buy some for me? I finish the ones at home.” I asked in a pleading & cute tone. Seeing my face, he couldn’t say ‘no’, “Ok, I will get you some. I will be back.” he said making his way out while grabbing a jacket along with him & soon the door was heard being close. While staring at the white ceilings above me, my mind wonders off to the times that I spent with him together the last 2 months.

(Flashbacks)

“Good morning” he said in a chirpy tone. ”Morning” I replied in a normal one. “Breakfast is ready. Let’s eat.” he said. I just nodded & took my seat on the dining table. While eating, “After you told me about your condition yesterday, I think it’s my responsibility to send you back & fro from work & also to take care of your diets. So do I have your permission to carry out that duty?” he asked in a polite tone. “It’s time for me to give MinMin a rest from taking care of me.” I thought. “Ok, I give you permission to do so.” I said. “Thanks” he replied. I know by agreeing to that it will take our relationship a step closer.

A month passed by just like that, we got closer & more comfortable with each other. His presences during check ups, staying by my side when I needed him & worrying about me, it’s make me see him as a different person. Just by having him around me, makes me feel a whole lot better. He is always trying his best to provide a comfortable & good environment to leave in. Soon enough, we have dinner at Kim’s Mansion with the presence of my umma & dongsaeng too, the news of my pregnancy was announce & it’s cause so much happiness for them especially Grandpa & Umma. A happiness that I didn’t experience of such a long time in my life. Upon the news, it was decided that I will stop attending work, staying at home since I was told not to strain myself by the doctor & Jaejoong was worried by the fact that I will overwork myself. That’s was how I ended up at home with nothing to do expect watching tv & reading. Luckily, there are times where MinMin or umma will come over & visit. A week ago, we attended Yoochun’s wedding & I was indeed happy for the newly wedded couple.

Time as pass, nothing much as change in the house, we still sleep in separate rooms but I will call him through my cell phone if there’s a need or emergency. He was worried due to my body condition since it’s a bit weak so he asked me not to move around too much. The baby has been healthy & that’s how a big smile spread on his face everytime a check up session ended. We become more comfortable & started to call each other by nickname.
Our relationship seems to grow as time pass, I hope it will continue to grow more.

“Min, I’m back.” I heard Jae calling out, pulling me out of my slumber. Soon, he appears at the door, “Min, here’s the mangoes & ice cream. Sorry, I took quite a while since it’s difficult to find a fruit stall opened at this timing.” he said while passing the items to me. “It’s ok, Jae. Sorry, to wake you up again. You can go back to sleep now, I can manage by myself.” I said giving an apologetic smile. “There’s nothing to be sorry about, Min. It’s normal to have craving when you are pregnant.” he said giving a smile while taking a seat on the armchair located at the corner of my room. Tasting the foods, it tasted so good. While eating, I turn my attention when I heard a slight snore, realising that it came from him that as fallen asleep on the armchair. “He must be exhausted working & taking care of me at the same time.” I thought to myself. I slowly tiptoed to him with a blanket as I reached him; I covered him up with the blanket. “Thanks,Jae.” I said while looking at his sleeping face & a while later, I got myself back in bed.

(Next morning)

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
The light shone brightly on my face, I move my body & it’s was aching & stiff. I finally realise that I fallen asleep on the armchair. Looking around, I saw Min was sleeping soundly on the bed. I approach him & kiss him on the forehead, “Good morning, my love.” I whispered while looking at his angelic face. Slowly, I moved my hand to touch his bulging tummy that’s growing as time passed, “Good morning,baby. Behave yourself alright. Take care of umma while appa is at work.” I whispered as I kiss his tummy. Not long after, I tiptoed myself out trying not to wake him up. A refreshing shower makes feel more energetic as I proceed to make breakfast. Seeing he was still deep in sleep, I decided to get the dishes ready on the dinning table while leaving a note on his side table before going to work.

Hearing the faints sounds, I decided to just keep myself relaxed & close my eyes. Soon, feeling a kiss on my forehead & a whisper, “Good morning, my love” where else soon after I feel a hand on my tummy & a whisper, “Good morning,baby. Behave yourself alright. It’s been an everyday routine for him as I will just pretend to be asleep since I don’t know how to react towards his action. I keep asking myself, why did he call me, his love? “Since when did he fall in love with me?” I question myself. I am happy with him now but I’m not sure if I have forgiven him or if I can even give him my full trust. My feelings are all jumble up together. I turn toward my side table & saw a note, “Dear Min, remember to eat breakfast or not, our baby will be hungry…Lots of love, Jae” A smile spread on my face while reading the note. After getting a shower, I made my way to the kitchen for breakfast.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
While having lunch, I decided to check up on Min. “Yeobsaeyo,Min” I said. “Hey Jae, eating lunch?” he asked. “Yup, so have you eaten yours?” I asked worried that he was not eating properly. “Yup” he replied in an instant. “Good, I will be back early for dinner like usual since there no meetings that will be extended.” I said. “Talking about dinner, Umma called earlier on saying that she wanted us back for dinner tonight.” he ended with excitement in his tone. “Sure, no problem. See you later.” I replied. After an ‘ok’ and a ‘goodbye’ the call ended.

(Changmin’s Pov)
“Goodbye” I said ending the call with Jae. I was in the living room listening to some music on my i-pod. After a while, my phone rang, distracting me from the music. “Yeobsaeyo,MinMin” I answered it. “Hey, Minnie…how are you recently? Sorry, I didn’t see you often nowdays, been busy with modelling.” he said with a hint of guilty in his voice. “I’m fine & don’t worry about that. I understand that you are busy, we can catch up with each other anytime.” I replied in a cheerful tone.
“Thanks Minnie for understanding. I hope we can meet up soon.” he replied. Hearing his reply, I thought of an idea. “MinMin, why don’t you join us for dinner today at umma’s place? I will be going with Jae & I’m sure umma won’t mind having you around.” I suggest. “That’s a good idea Minnie, I will see you there then.” he replied. After saying byes, the call ended.

(Dinner)

After Jae gets home, he went straight to change & soon after we make our way to umma’s place. Upon reaching, I greeted my umma & dongsaeng, both with a hug & kiss on the cheek. After a while I ended up in the living room with my dongsaeng, chatting since Jae is helping umma in the kitchen. I wanted to help out at first but was refrained from doing so by Jae, saying that he will help umma instead. Not long after, the doorbell rang, “MinMin must have arrive.” I thought to myself while trying to get up from my seat but was stopped by Jae. “It’s ok, I will get it.” he said while making his way to the door. I wanted to greet MinMin, so I just trailed slowly behind Jae.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
When I opened the door, I saw Minho. “What is he doing here?” I thought. “MinMin” I heard Min calling out from behind me. I slowly move aside giving him a way to passed through. He just smiles at me & soon I witness a hug by the two of them. “Minnie, I miss you.” he said. Min just smile at him & said, “Me too..Let’s chat more in the living room.” while dragging him away. I stood there & realise the door was still open, closing it as I made my way back to the kitchen. “Who was that?” umma asked as soon as I appear in the kitchen. “Minho” I answered without realising there a hint of jealousy in my voice. Umma just let out a small laugh & said, “Are you jealous Jae?” I just nodded & she replied, “You shouldn’t be.” as she made her way out of the kitchen. Being left alone in the kitchen, I was wondering about umma’s words. “Jae, come & join us in the living room.” Umma called out. I quickly made my way there, without thinking much. The sight that greeted me was Min & him was giggling while seating so close to each other. My heart is burning with jealousy as I took a seat beside umma. A while after we proceed to have dinner, all of us was having a great time especially Min. I can see that his family is very close with Minho as umma seems so comfortable chatting with Minho. I just sat there quietly, eating my dinner when umma said, “So Minho ah, have you introduce yourself to Jaejoong?” directing it to Minho. “Nope, didn’t have the opportunity to do so yet. Right Minnie?” he replied looking at Min’s direction. Min’s nodded his head & said, “Jae ah, this is Choi Minho, my bestfriend & dongsaeng.” “What?? Minho is his bestfriend & not his lover.” I thought to myself. “Jae” I heard Min called out. I turn to his & Minho’s direction since he is seating beside Min. “Nice to meet you, Jaejoong hyung.” Minho said. “Likewise” I replied, not knowing how to respond. “So there’s nothing going on between them, I will need to confess my love to Min soon.” I thought to myself while thinking of a plan. As soon as an idea popped out, “Minho, do you mind me chatting with you later? Just to get to know you better.” I said. “Sure,hyung” he replied with a smile.

(Changmin’s Pov)
I was happy that Jae decided to put in an effort to get to know MinMin. After dinner & clearing up, I decided to take a rest in my room while Jae & MinMin is chatting in the living room. While seating by the window enjoying the night breeze, a knock was heard & soon umma appeared at the door. I just give her a smile as she approaches me. “So how’s everything with Jaejoong, dear?” she asked as she took a seat beside me. “Everything is fine, umma. He has been taking good care of me & I really appreciate his effort.” I replied. She just nodded & said, “Min ah, do you realise that he loves you very much?” I just keep quiet, trying to avoid answering that question. “Min ah, you can’t avoid this question forever. He really loves you that he change so much, trying to be a good husband towards you.” Umma said once again.

“But umma, what if one day he changes back into the person he was, 2 years ago. I’m confused towards my own feeling. I’m feeling happy & blissful but at same time I felt that all of this is like a dream & once I’m awake, Jae will be heartless again. I don’t want to love him & got my heart broken at the end of it. It will just hurt too much.” I said while resting my head on her shoulder, without realising a tear roll it’s way down my cheek. “Min ah, I know that you are scared that this is just all a dream but it’s not. If you are scared to love dear, you will never be able to find your happiness. I’m sure with the presence of Jaejoong & the baby in your life, you will find your happiness.” she ended her words while whipping my tears away & gives me a warm embrace after that. I just nodded while returning her embrace. “Now, it’s getting late. You should take your leave & rest early once back home.” she said. I just nodded & both of us make our way out of the room. After saying goodbyes & hugs, we made our way back home.

(Next day)

Heading towards the kitchen after my shower, I saw breakfast is ready on the table like usual. Upon seating, I saw a note & read it, “Dear Min, I will be waiting for you at Sunset beach during dinner. I will wait for you until you come….Lots of love,Jae.” “Why is he waiting for me at my favourite place, Sunset beach?” I asked myself after reading the note.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“I hope everything when as plan today & I really need to thank Minho for helping out on the information about Min.” I said to nobody while my eyes still focusing on the road.

(Dinner)

(Changmin’s Pov)
Upon reaching Sunset beach, I looked around trying to find him. “Min ah” I heard his voice calling out. Turning my head to the voice direction, I saw him standing there. I approach him & said, “Jae ah, what is all this?” “Nothing much” he replied as soon I find darkness overcoming my eyes. “What are you doing,Jae?” I asked trying to find a source of light. “I’m going to blindfold you for a while, just grab on to my hand & I will lead the way.” he replied. Not wanting to argue in public, I just grab hold of his hand. As he opened the blindfold, I was greeted by the sight of a beautiful candle light dinner at the sea shore & also candle that are lighted up & being poke into a heart shape in the sand. “What is all this?” I asked still feeling shocked but touched at the same time by the sight.

My question was not answer but suddenly he just get on his knee while being right in front of me & said, “Will you be mine?” with a elegant but simple diamond ring in his hand. “If you are scared to love dear, you will never be able to find your happiness.” Umma’s words repeated in my head. “Yes” I replied after thinking a while. There’s was a big smile on his face as he slipped the ring on to my finger. Standing up & holding my hands shortly after that, he said, “Thanks Min, for accepting me & forgiving me after all that I don’t 2 years ago. With this ring it’s symbolise my love for you & to start our own little family with our baby.” as tears of happiness roll on his cheek. Seeing his tears indeed convince me that he had change, to someone that I love. While whipping his tears away, I said, “Jae ah, I believe that you will make me happy & a good husband & great appa.” Soon we are in each other embrace, “I love you.” he whisper at my ear, “I love you too.” was my replied.

A hatred that change into love. A love that change a person. A person that finds his happiness.
Never give up on love before trying & never blame love if it’s ever hurts you…



(Changmin’s Pov)
“Mmmm…the ice cream & pickles taste like heaven.” I thought out in a small voice while scooping more, enjoying it while having a slight snore as my background music. Jae was fast asleep beside me after grabbing the ice cream tub & the jar of pickles from the kitchen. After a few months being “in love”, we finally shared a room together. Half a tub was gone before it satisfied my craving & soon I get myself cuddle up beside Jae after putting the items away in the kitchen.

(Next Morning)

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
Upon hearing the alarm, I opened my eyes to be greeted with Min’s angelic face right beside me, “It seems like he is glowing as time passed.” I thought to myself. Spending a few more minutes looking at him, “Good morning, my love” I said in a whisper, trying not to wake him up while giving him a kiss on the forehead. As I wanted to moved on to his tummy, “Morning, jagiya” I hear his voice & soon I feel a kiss on my cheek. “Did I wake you up, Min?” I asked giving him a smile. “Nope, I was already awake when I heard your voice.” he replied. I just nodded & slowly my hand moves to his tummy, “Good morning, baby.” I said while giving his tummy a kiss. He just smiled towards my action, as I get myself up from bed; I approach Min & get him in a seating position. I made my way to the kitchen after helping him to the shower. “I’m glad that Min appreciates every bits of my food now. He has been having weird craving lately but I think it’s normal for pregnant people.” I thought to myself while continue cooking.

(Changmin’s Pov)
Putting on my shirt, I was dressed for the day & slowly I headed for the kitchen. The smell of brewing coffee & the sounds of sizzle from the pan was heard. The sight of Jae flipping the omelette greeted me, “Hey” I called out which caught Jae’s attention, “Hey, get seated. Breakfast will be ready soon.” he said with a beautiful smile like always. I just nodded to his words & slowly took my seat. Soon, breakfast was ready & we proceed eating while chatting. “So Min ah, since it’s the weekend, do you want to go baby shopping since we haven’t done it yet?” he asked. I was really excited hearing the question, “Sure” I replied in an instant while nodding like a 5 year old kid. He just chuckled towards my action & said, “Ok then.”

As the excitement grows in me, I finish breakfast faster than usual & quickly headed back to the room, to get change which earned a nagging from Jae, “Min ah, be careful. You are walking too fast.” he said while trailing behind me.

(3rd person’s Pov)
An hour drive from their house, Jae & Min both arrived at the baby’s departmental store. The place was huge & Min got so excited by just seeing the items. “It’s so cute.” he cooed. Jae just laughed as he grab hold of Min’s hand & lead him into the store. As they stroll along the different section, a cute, little pink dress caught Min’s eyes. Heading towards it while dragging Jae along. “Jae ah, isn’t this so cute? It will make our baby look like an angel.” Min said. “But Min ah, what if the baby is a boy? Let’s just get some blue shirts & pants ok? They are cute too.” Jae replied. “But I’m sure, the baby is gonna be a girl. I want this for our baby.” Min replied, whining. “But Min ah, how can you be so sure that it’s gonna be girl? Let’s just get the other one ok?” Jae replied while trying to put back the dress to where it was in the first place.

He grab on to Min while trying to drag Min away from the dress but soon tears makes it way on Min’s cheek, “You don’t love me & our baby. You won’t let me buy the dress for our angel.” Min finally said out loud while hitting Jae on the chest, which caught other’s attention. Feeling tensions & embarrassment from the stares that he was getting, “Min ah, stop it. Let’s just get the other one ok? You can’t be so sure that is gonna be a girl.” Jae said trying to convince Min, but it resulted a sob from Min, “You don’t trust me, do you? It’s called ‘mother’ instinct.” Min replied giving Jae a sad look.

“I trust you, Min ah but..” Jae’s words was cut off, “I want it.” Min whined again as he grabbed hold of the dress. “But Min ah, if the baby is a boy than he can’t wear a dress, let’s just get the shirt & pants ok?” he tried convincing Min again as he hope all this would end soon since others attention are still on them. A sob was heard once again, “ I HATE YOU, KIM JAEJOONG.” Min finally said in a low & dangerous tone but was loud enough for others to hear. Shocked was written on Jae’s face, seeing Min’s sudden outburst. Murmurings were in the background when Min walked past Jae while bursting into tears. Seeing Min, Jae couldn’t take it anymore as he catch after Min & grabbed hold of Min’s wrist & turn Min to face him, “Min ah, let get the dress ok?” he said while trying to whip Min’s tears. “Really?” Min asked as his eyes light up. Jae’s just nodded & soon Min was in his embrace. Min was all smiles while dragging Jae’s back to retrieve the dress, that was left hanging a few minutes ago.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
“What wrong with Min? He was sad & angry a few minutes ago & now he is smiling so brightly like nothing happen. Aish, I just don’t understand him, why must we argue when it comes to choosing things, why can’t we just agree on things together?” I thought to myself while Min kept on dragging me to get the other baby’s stuff. I try my best not to argue with him, not wanting that incident to repeat again.

“Jae ah, can we go & eat after this? I feeling hungry.” I said as we both were seated outside the doctor’s office for the monthly check up. Jae just nodded in respond & said, “Min, I need to go to the restroom for a while.” I just nodded & soon he took his leave.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
After washing my hand, I made my way out of the restroom. While walking past a counter, I saw a few pamphlets about pregnancy. I took a few of it & slip it into my pocket planning to read it later. When, I was nearing Min, I heard his name being call as I quickly lead him into the doctor’s office. After the check up, Min was hungry so we decided to drop by at his favourite café. Getting seated in our seat, “Min ah, what would you like to eat?” I asked while flipping through the menu. “I’m craving for the cakes here & also it’s milkshake.” he answered with excitement in his tone. I just nodded in acknowledgement. A while later, the order was serve as Min proceed to enjoy the cakes “Jae ah, this strawberry cheesecake is so delicious. Do you want some?” he asked. ”It’s ok,Min. You can enjoyed it, I’m still full from breakfast.” I replied while sipping on my lemon tea that was ordered. Min just nodded & continued enjoying the delicacies in front of him.

A sudden urge overcome me to read the pamphlets as I took it out & read out in low tone but could be heard by Min. “Pregnant women are not to eat greasy & sugary food. It will be best to refrain from to much sugar & oil. It may affect the baby health & also cause the mom to increase in weight that’s not need during pregnancy.” I finish reading it out. Nodding in understanding, “That’s it why Min was putting on more weight this few days.” I thought out aloud. Soon, sobbing was heard, realising that Min was crying in front me. Putting down the pamphlets, I asked, “Min, why are you crying?” “Jae..*sob* you are *sob* saying I’m * sob* fat.” he replied still sobbing which earns looks from others. “Nope, I didn’t say you are fat, Min.” I answered in panicky voice, as not knowing what to do. “You *sob* also say “sob* I’m a *sob* bad omma *sob* because I like *sob* eating sugary *sob* food.” he ended again. “No, I mean you would need to stop eating too many of it if not it will be unhealthy for the baby.” I tried explaining. More tears streaming down his cheek was the result of my explanation, “See…I’m a *sob* bad omma *sob* & you don’t *sob* love me *sob* anymore…*sob* because I’m..*sob* fat.” he ended his words while getting up from his seat. “Min ah, where you going?” I asked in a panicky voice. He just burst into more tears & walked away which earn glares from others towards me.

Getting up after leaving some cash on the table, I gave a chase calling out, “Min ah”. By the time I exit the café, I saw him crying in the car. “Min ah” I called out once in the car. There was no respond, just the sound of him sobbing. I slip my hand into his & said, “Min ah, look at me.” He slowly turned & his face that was stain with tears, both dried & new ones greeted me. “Min ah, listen. You are the most beautiful pregnant man I ever see or know & I’m sure, our angel will be just as beautiful as you.” I said in soothing voice while whipping his tears away. His tears stop as he said, “You think so?” looking at me with his glistening eyes. I just nodded & said, “You can eat cakes, not just too much of it ok? It will be unhealthy for our angel.” I said in a comforting tone while giving his tummy a little pat. He just nodded with a big smile & soon we drive our way home. “Aish, it’s his mood swing again. I should be careful of my words if not his gonna cry again.” I remind myself while driving.

As I open my eyes, Jae’s face greeted me with a smile. “Jae ah” I called out in a soft voice that sounded like a whisper. “Yes, Min” he answer grabbing my hand into his gently. I look around me with my blurry eyes & realise that I’m in the ward now, “Jae ah, can I have a glass of water, my throat is dried.” I asked. He just nod, soon he passed me a glass of water. After having a drink, “Jae ah, where’s our angel?” I asked. “Our angel is with the doctor now. Later, they will bring her here.” he replied. “It’s a girl?” I asked once again. “Yes Min, just like how you guess it.” he replied while getting me into a seating position. Soon a nurse appeared with our angel, “Mr & Mrs Kim, here is your baby girl.” she said passing the bundle to me.

As soon as our angel was in my arms, I feel like crying. “I will be back & in the meanwhile you can also think of the baby’s name.” she said with a smile & took her leave.” I just nodded & give a weak smile in return. “Jae ah look, it’s our angel.” I said as Jae squeezes in beside me on the bed. “She’s cute, just like you.” he said, giving the baby a peck on its chubby cheek. I just giggled & soon I feel a kiss on my forehead,” Thanks love, for bringing this angel into our life, now our little family is complete.” he whisper into my ear. His words cause tears of happiness to roll down on my cheek, seeing it he just wipe it away & stay cuddle up like that with the baby in both our embrace. “Jae ah, we gonna name her like how we discuss it the other day right?” I asked. He just nodded to my words.

(Jaejoong’s Pov)
After cuddling up for a while, the nurse from before appeared again. “It’s time to bring the baby back to the nursery.” she said. Before handing the baby back, we both give the baby a peck on the cheek. The baby was soon in the incubator that the nurse brought along & fast asleep. “So Mr & Mrs Kim, have you guys thought of the name?” she said while getting ready a pen & some documents on clipboard. The both of us just nodded, “Jaerin/Minjoo” both Min & I said out loud at the same time. “Jaerin?/Minjoo?” the both of us said while looking confuse at each other. “I thought we agree on Minjoo/Jaerin.” once again we said at the same time. “No, I didn’t agree on Jaerin.” Min said looking at me. “I didn’t agree on Minjoo either.” I said looking at him. “But I like the name,Minjoo.” he argue. “Jaerin sounds better.” I argue back. “No,why does the name have only your name in it? It’s not fair.” he replied, pouting.

“Sorry Min, the pout is not gonna work. Then, why would the baby name should be Minjoo, it’s only have your name in it. It’s not fair too.” I replied. The both of us keep arguing on the topic that we didn’t realise that the nurse as slipped out of the room with our angel. “What are you guys arguing about?” we heard a voice & soon Yoochun & Yunho appeared at the ward’s door. “Yun,Chun, we arguing about the baby’s name.” I replied. “Baby name?” Chun said, they were both puzzled as they approach us. Min just nodded & said, “Since Yun &
Chun is here maybe they should be the judges. Which one is better Jaerin or Minjoo?” Min asked, directing it to them. Both of them look more confused & suddenly, “How about Min Ae?” Chun suggested. “Min Ae sounds so cute.” Min remarked giggling to himself. “Min ah, the only reason you say it’s cute because it have your name in it. It’s still not fair.” I replied giving Min a pout.

“Yah, pabo.” Chun said as I feel a hand hit the back of my head, “Ouch, Chun. It hurts.” I replied, rubbing the spot that was hitted. “Stop pouting & listen, Min Ae as both of your & Min’s name in it. Min is taken from Chang-MIN & Ae is taken from J-AE-joong.” as Chun finishes his explanation. I nodding taking in his words & finally understood, “I see. Let’s use Min Ae then, It does sounds cute.” I finally said. Chun just shakes his head & said jokingly, “Min ah, where did you get this pabo from?” “I have no idea.” was Min replied as all of us break into laughter.

( 4 Years Later)
(Changmin’s Pov)
While chopping some vegetable to get breakfast ready, I feel a hug from behind. “Morning, my love” I heard Jae’s voice & feel a peck on my cheek. “Morning,jagiya.” I replied giving him a peck. We stay in that position for a while as soon I said, “Jae ah, go & get your shower first before Min Ae wake up.” “Ok, I go now” he replied as he let go of me but not before stealing a peck from me & heading towards our bedroom soon after. “Omma” I hear a cute voice calling out after Jae left. I turn around to greeted by the side of a half asleep Min Ae in a pink hello kitty pj’s & a bear in her embrace while a hand rubbing her eyes. I just smile as I approach her, “Morning baby” I said, picking her up & giving her a morning kiss on the cheek, She just giggled, “Morning omma” she replied, giving a kiss in return. “Baby, let’s wait for appa.” I said as carrying her towards the kitchen, placing her in one of the chairs. Soon Jae appeared & “Appa” Min Ae called out, getting out from her seat & running towards Jae’s embrace.

“Morning, baby” Jae said bending down to be in the same height as our angel. “Morning, appa” Min Ae replied giving Jae’s his morning kiss as well. They walk hand in hand approaching the kitchen & soon getting seated in their seat. “Breakfast is ready, let’s eat.” I said as I get the dishes ready on the dining table. After getting seated in my seat, I feel a tug on my shirt, “Yes, baby” I said seeing Min Ae with her doe eyes. “Omma, can I sit on your lap while eating breakfast?” she asked in an innocent voice. “Sure” I replied as she jump onto my lap, giggling. Jae & I just laugh at her cuteness. “So Min ah, do you want to go somewhere since it’s the weekend?” Jae asked while enjoying the food. “Hmm.. Min Ae, will you like to go the beach baby?” I asked. “Yes, omma.” She replied, nodding in excitement. “Ok then, get readied after breakfast, alright baby?” Jae’s said which earn a nod from Min Ae. Min Ae was soon dress in a cute summer dress & they were ready to go.

“Omma” Min Ae called out. “Yes baby” I replied turning to her direction. “Look omma, isn’t this sandcastle pretty. I made it with Appa.” she said proudly. I just nodded & give a thumb up. She just smiles while continuing playing with Jae. The sounds of their giggles and laughter is like music to my ear. “I never dream of having a wonderful family from a marriage that change my life. Remembering the memories I go through with Jae bring me tears, happiness & laughter but that’s how life is, a balance of everything.” I thought to myself. Soon, I approached the two of them & join in the fun.

When Min join in the fun, my mind wonder off looking at his face, as years past, I finally understand the meaning of happiness & true love of a family which is priceless. Min & Min Ae is the miracles in my life, the peoples that changes my life….to someone that I never dream of being, a good husband & appa.

A child is a miracle. A miracle happened for a reason. A reason to build a family.
A family love is priceless…not even a mountain of gold could buy it…
